So, just finished the Walking Dead game last night. It was pretty great, can't wait for the next one. I'd say it's on par with the comic, but if I were forced to rank them...

Anyone that likes the TV Show seriously should check out the comic and game. And, the game is in canon with the comic, so that's a nice touch.

Minor spoilers, more about the technical side of things:

Spoiler:: The choices change the story in minor ways, but not enough that it affects the grand scheme of things. A road map of episode 5 looks the same to everyone, though what characters are alive and how they feel about you are certainly subject to change --- but not to a great degree.

From what I've seen, the production values for the TV series are pretty shit so of course anyone who's been with the franchise longer than that would be disappointed... it's not a hard concept. And definately not something to get mad about.

I actually saw the first season of the show and thought it started good, then got boring, then got pants on head retarded. Slacker Hero recommended me the comic and I read it and loved it.

To be honest I liked the first compendium of the comic book better than the first season of the show but the second compendium is pretty shitty. I'm having a really hard time finishing it.
