American Top Gear (for eaustinn mainly)

Well it happen. America gets their own Top Gear on the History Channel (odd place). Comes out on November 21st.


Why do I feel they are going to be bias to Japanese cars

Rofl I actually saw it on a commercial last night. They were apperantly testing a new Porsche 4-door sedan (panamera most likey).

Does anyone know the time (EST) that it will be aired?

Even if it is bias, t looks like (so far) it won't be against german cars, and that's already 110% better.

EDIT: Seems like (obviously) they're going to prefer american above all else.

Everyone's going to be bias in one way or another, everyone naturally is. The original top gear overglorified British Cars (and Italian Cars for some reason) and took a dump on German cars, since it is a British entertainment show (notice how I said "entertainment" and not "car").

The american version is in all honesty going to overglorify american cars, and probably say everyone else is average.

Doesn't matter either way though, because idc. These are "Entertainment" shows, mainly about the "lives of 3 bloks undergoing challenges and having fun". Jeremy Clarkson even admitted in an interview that the show isn't really about cars.

If you want a serious accurate car review, and you use top gear as a source, sorry, but your an idiot (imo).

I fucking hate Tanner Foust, he's such a fag, btw it airs Sunday the 21st.

Airs tonight in a couple hours. Unfortunately, i'm pretty sure it conflicts with the WD, so that might be a problem.

So glad I live in Mountain Time.

Show is going great right now.
So Evo action in the snow, (implied) dissing Brittish Top Gear, and some how Angelina Jolie wearing knee high boots and having a riding crop.

I keep changing channels on the WD commercials. Main thing i've seen is an Aston being reviewed (not fond of the car at all), and the episode description mentioned drifting, so I don't think i'm missing too much important to me.

Although I did catch a Porsche 911 reference somewhere in the review.

The other Top Gear is 10x better and funnier.

Another one tonight as usual.

Even though i'm still watching the WD, it actually looks like i'll never miss another top gear episode.

I just realized (sadly) that my TV provider has a "look-back" feature, where I can watch any show aired on TV within the last 3 days (using their recorded database) as many times as I want for free.

Hopefully this season will get good.
