Piloting "School"
Undead Xbox Piloting school
It seems to be a problem that in zombie matches most "Decent" pilots do not get picked to fly because nobody knows there skill level, and lets face it staff don't want to worry about the evac pilot crashing and messing there team up.
So i came up with an idea an after gaining the approval of DeadApe i decided to follow through with it.
In these sessions you will learn the following:
-Basic manoeuvring
-Emergency landings
-Advanced manoeuvring
-flying a tailless helicopter to safety
-Shooting (this is one of the most important parts of piloting)
After a few sessions Pilots who we believe need no more training will take a test. The test may include Manoeuvring, emergency landings and shooting, you may also be assessed on how you handle a situation under pressure.
Upon completion of the test you will be given a grade on your skills (more on that later) If you receive a high grade staff can refer to the list in a zombie match and there for you will be more likely to be picked for piloting.
Grades:
U - Ungraded
F - Fail
D D+ - Acceptable
C C+ - Good
B B+ - Very Good
A A+ - Excellent
If you fail or get given a lower grade don't worry, You can retake the test within a week of the first test.
If you gain the grade A or A+ you automatically graduate and will be added to the graduated list. People who Graduate may become an examiner or a tutor.
People who mess around will be kicked out and will not be graded no matter how good of a pilot they are.

Don't get frustrated, Practising is a key element to strafing but once you get the hang of it it's relatively easy. I'll have a 1 to 1 with you as soon as possible

Sgt imagine having to land a c130 like in arma 2 or a jet for that matter.

Or having to be the driver of the plane that has to drop all of these people off during a ww2 reanactment.

After practicing on thousands of free-moders i got the rust off my gatling-guns and i would like to attend this.
I know how to circle people, is that considered strafeing?

If you can properly focus on a target while going around it, without loosing it is considered strafing.

That's called circling, Dumbass.
Re: Piloting "School"
A common misconception is that strafing is some type of movement technique. It's not.
Strafing literally means to fire on infantry/troops from a low flying aircraft. That is the legit definition, you can look it up
In FPS, the practice of moving to the side while firing at someone is commonly called strafing but that's a misnomer.
