New Scenario, Glass Coffin.

Post  ApocalypseVVolf. on 20th July 2011, 6:54 pm

This scenario will be taking place in the motorcycle shop in North Alderney, and the Ferrari Shop in mid-Algonquin.

Seeing as the Ferrari shop has two floors, i'm thinking that survivors will only be able to defend the bottom floor, unless we can make the top floor the "Main" floor, where the one survivor will be fixing the Ferrari.

The shop to be played will be the survivors choice.

Zombies may only enter through the front door of the shops, as going through the broken windows would make the scenario difficult.Allowing the zombies to go through broken windows will be the survivors choice if they are up for the challenge.

Though if the harder difficulty is chosen, the zombies are not allowed to break the windows themselves, but when the windows are broken by gunshots the zombies then will be able to enter through the windows.

Survivor Amount: 5 (one survivor has to get in or on the vehicle, fixing it and preventing it from de-spawning, though he may shoot from the vehicle.)
Weather: Midnight, Rain/Foggy
Time Limit: 15 minutes
Blips: Leader
Traffic: Parked
Pedestrians: Off
Reticule Health: On
Voice Chat: Team
Respawn Distance: Near
Respawn Time: 5 seconds if the harder difficulty is chosen, 1 second if the easier scenario is chosen.
Weapons: 2 Shotgun Limit

When the timer hits two minutes (2:00) the survivors are free to take off with a vehicle, though the survivors are only allowed to flee in one vehicle, therefore only letting two survivors escape, since both the vehicles in both shops only have room for two.

Though from what I remember, the spawning for the vehicles are very bad, so what im thinking, is the survivors must protect one survivor while he fixes (prevents the vehicle from de-spawning, by sitting in or on the vehicle.), like a VIP game, the survivor "fixing" the bike, is allowed to shoot SMG or Pistol rounds at the zombies.

Guess what.

I really like this scenario. Approved, unless horribly flawed.

The bikes do have terrible spawning and they also disappear near instantly. However the scenario is fine even without the bikes. I like the "be careful where you shoot" element.

Also might work. There are 2 floors, so it'd either make it more interesting or easier. The car escape would definitely be easier than a bike escape.

Regardless of where the scenario is played, I like the general idea.

This might be a little bit of a rusty title, but: "Glass Coffin"

Seeing as (in the Grotti and Bike dealer) you are in-cased in glass windows.

Love the idea of being careful not to shoot the glass.

We need to test this sometime soon to work out (if any) the bugs.

youd have to be a total fool to accidently shoot the windows, either that or the zombies zig zag cheat just to get the windows shot. also if i knew that only 2 people were going to escape i would not hold down that spot in a zombie apoc. do we have any game types where we defend the abandoned carnival?

Maybe we can do something so more then 2 survivors can escape. Something like a safe zone, so the person riding the bike can drop off his passenger in said safe zone, and come back for more people. Even though the last one left will not survive

Well, seeing as the title "Glass Coffin" also fits in with the Ferrari shop in Algonquin, I think the rules can be pretty much the same for both.

OP updated somewhat.

I'm happy that I could contribute to this site for once.

With the updates, this scenario gets the Eaustinn Seal of Approval.

Commence to testing phase!

Oh no, mine has always existed, I just only give it out on rare occasions.

OP updated, to do with the spawning, someone check it out as it might be a little sketchy, but I think it's a decent idea.

I'll update the OP as we play this (if we do) to make it better and whatnot.

So for the motorcycle shop one, is there a plan for the other survivors that would remain?
