GTA Zombie Nights - Schedule Update

In the upcoming month, regular GTA Zombies will be undergoing another schedule change. As many are aware, zombies has been every week, until this past summer, where it was changed to every other week. Effective after the Saturday of October 27th, the following changes will be made:

- Zombies will switch to an "On-Demand" basis. What this means, is exactly how it sounds. On November 1st, the zombies event thread will be modified to include a poll for hosting zombies; this poll will be reset every week. If the poll crosses 20 people interested on any given week, zombies will be hosted that weekend. The number of people required (now 20) may change at any time depending on conditions.

- ZKOTM is to be discontinued when the switch occurs. Want to be the last ZKOTM ever? Well, October is your chance, so start dominating!

- There will still be a ZKOTY for 2012 decided, and released once 2012 ends. After this, ZKOTY will be discontinued as well.

- Leaderboard achievements WILL still count after the change, and be updated whenever the on-demand match happens.

- Slightly off-topic, I realize the leaderboard is a little outdated, but will be given a main update after the change to "On-Demand" zombies.

- On October 27th, an extended zombie night will be held, starting one hour earlier, at 9:00pm EST.



This decision was not made based on any recent events, and was pre-decided on in advance.
