UX Promo script

UX Promo Script


Disclaimer: This is for those participating in the filming of the UX Promo to see. If you didn’t know about the promo before reading this, don’t expect to be needed as a part of this.



Part uno (intro) – Promo opens up with a slow camera pan of LC (done with helo) with a caption or two describing the site

- time lapse shots of a few sections of the city are shown if more quotes or captions are wanted


Part Dubz (life RP) – Camera shot next to the counter captures a line of customers waiting in front of the Burger Shot counter.

- The cashier and customer engage in conversation for a few seconds before the customer walks towards the door

- additional camera angle is used to show the mentioned customer leaving the store

- customer exits the store, walks to the curb and looks to the left with the camera turning in coordination to reveal a police chase approaching his position

- camera shot next to customer captures the chase swerve around the corner to the left and drive out of sight

- The chase will proceed down the strip of Star Junction and south of it with street shots and the driving cameras to capture the scene

- The police swerve on to a smaller street just in time to see the suspect vehicle pull in to an alley (by now the atmosphere has become foggy?)

- The two officers take cover behind their respective cars and take aim at the alley

- A large horde of zeds pour out of the alley and rush the officer’s position

- Camera shots capture the officers firing their weapons followed by some shots of the zeds being killed

- A few more zed killing shots in till one of the officers gets overwhelmed and killed ( the one with the pistol)

- The remaining officer begins backpedaling and dropping zeds (could have the camera in a car in first person, backing up behind the officer)

- The officer finishes off the remains of the horde and runs up to another alley

- Wall covers next to the alley and peeks his head in to reveal two zeds

- Quickly dispatches of them

- Silently creeps to the exit of the alley just in time to witness two runners get fired upon (one dies) and get pursued by a military team

- Stealthily leaves the alleyway only to come face to face with a zed

- Zed rushes the man and gets sprayed down by a group of survivors walking down the road

- The group begins to walk away before one of the members turns around and motions for the man to follow them

- Man runs and catches up to the group and walks off down the street with them

- End of promo and roll credits

I think you have a detailed enough description and the script came out great. I literally memorized the map so I could show you some great spots to film if you need it.

Is this too Short?

My face when Cry Vengeance, Masta Shef, and DeadApe reply not helping the script, but just commenting that they don't like it in some way.

I'll respond with the fact that it isn't a "script"; Rather it's a loose feel of exactly what has to go on. It's missing stage direction, cast members, (Not literally gamertags, I mean person1, cop2, etc.) as well as the knowledge of exactly what is going on. (Some parts are a little vague)

Good work, but it needs to have more detail.

how about the 16th at 10PM EST? Because I was in the demo type part of this a few weeks ago and i know i'll participate in this, but yeah, i got a pretty full week this week

Can i be one of the cops >.<

I was really just making fun of masta shef and crys comment. I think its fine, there is no dialogue or plot in this video anyway.

i think it sounds good with or without dialogue prob would be better with dialogue but reminded me sorta of the whole group or teamwork it takes to survive our scenarios idk i guess I looked for a message and found one

I wish I could go back and fix the credits, because I epic fail'd on them. I forgot to credit Cry as a director and all kinds of important shit. I blame it on having 40c fever the day I made the credits and rendered the movie. Other than that, I'm still pretty happy with the outcome of that promo. But a new one wouldn't hurt either.

agreed, it wouldn't wow if they'd already heard it in a zombie movie. and I think UX could use another promo, seeing as how were more mainly focused on GTA and not CoD as often as we used to be (not officially)

I agree with a whole new promo, just to show the world what were doing now.

It's been a solid month, school is starting for many people, and there have been no updates to the script/date. I guess this isn't happening.
