Rules for Roleplay
***EDIT: These are NOT the Life Roleplay Rules hosted by eaustinn36.
Here we should post our own rule sets. Then we can pick who has the best one, or modify them. Heres my rule set.
Standard Rules for all players
- All players start with $2000
- When a player dies he is not actually dead but has received fatal injuries and pays a hospital bill ($1000) upon respawn.
- Players start with Fists/Knife. You must empty your ammo on your glock and avoid picking up weapons.
- Players who do not own houses may reside in "shitholes" like the sprunk building.
- Car salesmen should record all sales.
- Players cannot buy cars without a license. Car Dealers should call the driving instructor to check for licenses.
- Players CANNOT STEAL CARS UNLESS YOU ARE A CRIMINAL. This is considered cheating. If you dont have a car you must walk or use public transportation.
- Food items are considered health packs. If you buy a food item you may pickup a healthpack. YOU MAY NOT PICKUP A HEALTHPACK WITHOUT BUYING A FOOD ITEM
- Alcohol is good for body armor. Otherwise do not pick it up.
- Damaged cars cannot be healed unless brought to a pay and spray worker/car dealer/mechanic.
- Players not in crime cannot take part in criminal activities such as robberies.
- If a cop asks you to show him your inventory you must do so. Knives are not considered illegal. Baseball Bats are okay for defensive purposes.
Jobs are broken up into different classes.
Food Service
Transportation
Law Enforcement
Business
Crime
Everyone in the room starts off with $2,000.
Different job classes get different payments.
Food Service
- Earns $400 a Day. (Every time it is 6:00 in the morning.) This does not include their daily sales.
- You must buy your establishment from a real estate agent at the start of the game. Prices for average establishments (not high end places) should cost $1500 - $2000.
Later on in the game you may buy higher end places for more money, (should cost alot more money, $5000+.)
- You can charge whatever you want for your food/drinks, run your business how you want. You can give discounts to PREFERED CUSTOMERS. Please do not give discounts to your friends just for the hell of it. Its up to YOU to keep the money system balanced.
- If you do not make a profit of $150 that day you pay a fee of $200 dollars.
Transportation
- Must earn license with business vehicle (bus, taxi..)
- Earns $300 dollars a day (Does not include daily earnings.)
- Can charge whatever he/she wants for rides.
- 3 Traffic violations results in $500 fine (not including lawsuits,) suspension of license until he takes driving class or retakes permit test.
Law Enforcement
- Issued standard pistol. Can use body armor whenever. After 3 criminal arrests, are "promoted" and earn combat shotgun.
- Enforce the law for the entire room. Must record player records.
- When in a car chase, losing visual after 2 corners means you have lost the suspect.
- If a criminal gets away, dont go straight after his blip on the map. Give him time, and wait until you come across that player again in patrol.
- Does not need license. Takes care of giving out licenses.
- Can sell gun permits ($600 dollars plus questionare.)
- Cannot sell guns.
- Must incarcerate criminals, cops cannot execute them.
Business
- Businesses include Real Estate, Car Sales, Valet, ect... Most things you can think of that benefits the players in some way.
- Middle class cars must sell at a minimum of $2000
- Higher class cars must sell at a minimum of $5000
- Low class housing must sell at a minimum of $1000
- Middle class housing must sell at a minimum of $2000
- High class housing must sell at a minimum of $5000
- Gun shop falls under low class housing.
- Lawyers office falls under middle class housing.
- Pay n Spray falls under low class housing.

- Super Star Cafe/Mr Fuks Rice Box fall under Middle class housing.
Lawsuits
Getting hit by a car - less than $600
Accidental Murder (sent to hospital) - less than $2000
Harrassment - less than $400
Intentional Murder - Player is sent to jail. Bail is $1000 for every player killed.
Gun Sales
Player does NOT start off with a gun.
Player must buy gunshop from real estate.
In order to sell weapons and access it for him self the salesman must buy a shipment (a shipment is bought once and unlocks that weapon forever.)
Pistol Shipment - $1000 (includes Desert Eagles and Glocks.)
Shotgun Shipment - $3000 (Includes both shotguns.)
SMG Shipment - $3000 (Includes both SMG's.)
Assault Rifle Shipment - $4000 (Includes both Assault rifles.)
- Pistols must sell for $800+
- Guns are lost upon death and being arrested.
- Buying a gun is only good for one unit of that weapon. Any additional ammo must be bought.
Real Estate
- The Real Estate agent is provided a middle class office at the start of the game.
- Must buy a house like other players. To buy a house, deduct the amount of money from your account.
Crime
In a full room there can be a maximum of 4-5 criminals in the room. Criminals start off like all other players. To get a gun they must buy one. Criminals can steal cars, however if you steal a car and are moving or speeding you show up on the police radio (police map.)
Criminals may mug/robbers players. Mugging players can only be done in shady areas, back alleys, as in, you cannot walk up to a player in daylight in front of the police station and mug them. Nighttime increases a players chance of being mugged. When a player is mugged he loses $200. When a player is robbed in his own house/business he/she loses $600. To combat burglary players can buy guns/call the cops. If the criminal is arrested directly after the robbery, the money is moved back to the person who was robbed.
Criminals are like other players in all other ways. When a criminal is killed by a citizen trying to defend themself it doesnt not erase his record and he is arrested after spawn.
If a criminal is killed by a police officer he is arrested after spawn. The crime will go away once the criminal has served jail time.
- Criminals have certain jobs that they can have, that are treated like other jobs. These jobs are...
Fightclub organizer - Player sets prices. If owned by multiple players, the money is split. (If these activities are illegal, can cops participate? Should they be raiding these places?)
Race organizer - Player sets prices. If owned by multiple players, the money is split. (Illegal activity, cops may not participate but if informed of the race may arrest all participants.)
Gun Salesman - See Gun Sales.
Enforcer - Works with the Loan Shark. If a loan is not paid the player may use force to get the money back. If the enforcer kills the player, the Loan Shark receives all of the players money.
NO HITMEN. Hitmen dont fit in with the roleplay universe and so there will be none.

Re: Rules for Roleplay
i only have a problem with the lawsuits i think it shouldnt be limits for other things i think every thing should be under 4000$ - $5000 and the lawyer (me) can decide if thats fair depending on the case. cause if the person only wins $400 i only would charge like 25 dollars and that earns me nothing
Re: Rules for Roleplay
we really need to work on the lawsuits becouse i keep getting fucked by noodle and crusher. people can not get lawsuits for every little thing like o he rode a dirtbike in my shop and shit. ps Fuck u crusher thats my way of buying clothes

It was an old version of roleplaying the site doesn't use much anymore (or so at least I was told) - and it was for GTA4.

Please read the FAQ, as it should answer all your start up questions. If you have further questions after that, feel free to PM a staff member, or create a new thread in our questions/support section under 'Welcome". Just don't continue to post here though, as this is not the appropriate thread for questions.
