Question time.

I have been saving up money for something. So should i get an acoustic guitar or just get a game or 2?

Learning an instrument is a great talent, and its alot more useful than a video game. Not enough kids these days are learning to play instruments. Go with the guitar.

Switch out acoustic with electric

Acctually make than an accoustic/eletric. For beginers electric isn't the worst out of the two. Accoustics requier you to push down harder on the fret board thus giving more strength and extra skin on you fingers thus making electric playing a breeze. Also accoustics have a sound that no amp or pedal will ever be able to perfect. If you want to rock out and hit the destortion than plug in the accoustic into an amp. It may not sound great but hell you don't care because you are new to playing. Accoustic/electrics ftw! Untill after about a year or two than go with a BC rich or and Ibenez for some sick metal sounds.

You could rent Marvel ultimate alliance 2 then buy a acoustic guitar also??

I have this guitar and it is pretty sick...

Nobody bothered mentioning how much commitment you have to be ready for if you buy a guitar. Trust me, I have two, a Fender G10 Series Acoustic and a Fender Stratocaster Dual Humbucker Pickup Sixer. Both of which have a combined value of alot of money, and both of which have spent considerable time in my closet because I got bored of learning to play. I play them now, but back when I first got them I was like, "OOMGG YESH GUUITARZ11!" until I realized that there was work involved , then I was like....".....closet time".

So just be ABSOLUTLEY sure that your going to play them, otherwise dont waste your money.

It really depends. If you're a hardcore gamer that spends most of his time gaming, then get a couple games. But if you're into music, and have the time to devote to learning guitar, then get the guitar. Just remember that if you're going to spend the money for a guitar, that you're ready to spend a lot of your time learning to play it. My brother practices his guitar at least 2 hours a day, and has his band practice on weekends. It took him hundreds and hundreds of hours of practice, but it also depends on if you're wanting to go that far or you're just playing for leisure.

i say guitar. it's good to increase the skills of your hobbies, like me and my writing.

A bunch of my friends recomended it to me. It looks beautiful and it sounds great!

Besides the one I recomended I got nothing for your price range. I really think you should go with and accoustic/electric but whatever.. While you are learn "Mary had a little lamb" I am going to be sweep picking and tapping my ass off on my BC Rich with some new EMG pick ups
