Question about recovering gamertags

I am planning to get another Hard drive for my Xbox 360 so i can have 1 normal one and another one will be full of save game mods.What i want to know is when i recover my gamertag on my 2nd HDD will the save games that i have on the other one come with it or will i have to copy them to my computer with my transfer cable ect ?

not sure i dont use a separate hardrive for my mods

Anyway, yea your saved games won't be on there but, if you mod your saved games, they only last like maybe one or two games or as long as you want until you stop playing Nazi Zombies and move on to something else. If anything, mod your profile. It is a bit more in depth but, none the less more reasourseful but, it is easier to get banned (which is hardly even a risk unless your mod your Xbox by flashing).
My suggestion would to just mod normaly. I mean if you have an extra hardrive than go for it but don't buy one just for mods.

Oh and does anybody know if it is possible to set a proxy connection for my Xbox Live to connect to?
