Survival....One mans tale....

"Hello.....helololol. Ok Jake give me a couple minutes, this one actually works. To anyone that may find this holotape, this is a warning and should be regarded as such. It's been...how many is it now Jake? Eight? Yeah I heard you. It's been about eight months since that Lone Wanderer guy bought the farm. That 101 kid was a symbol of justice; he stuck with us through the worst of it, survived a lethal blast of radiation from the purifier, and even helped us cripple the Enclave's forces. The insulting part......it was a faulty engine turbine in one of our Vertibirds that was the end of him.... I would know, because I was in said vertibird. When the higher ups realized what had happened, Elder Lyons almost dropped on the spot. I'd never seen him cry before and trust me he came damn close to it.

The brotherhood realized that they had just lost their poster boy and immediately began a hush up program among the survivors of the crash. Needless to say I was disgusted by this, but then again with a broken leg there wasn't much I could do. Jake was the medic working on me in the ward, and the one that encouraged me to leave the Citadel. Thankfully power armor acts as an exoskeleton so Jake and I left without much trouble....that is intill we came across Samuel at the front gate. I.....I....didn't want to shoot him but he reached for his holster so I shot him in the face with my Laser Pistol. I hate to be thankfull for this but one shot from my gun evaporated his face, so hopefully they wont realize it's him intill after we're long gone.

Right now we're at the entrance to some subway tunnel. I dont wanna go through here but topside is too risky right now. The brotherhood's got birds all over the sky searching for us. Damn.....this place smells horrible......wait.....I recognize this scent.....it's rotting flesh."
