The Safehouse

Yea, I know its cool.


The Safehouse will take the place of all that junk at the top including the leaderboard, videos, and achievements. Right now you can only see the achievements page as the rest are still under contruction, but should be relatively easy to make compared to the achievements page.

My goal is to have all the achievements clickable to show how many people, and which people have those achievements. Im taking a break for today (worked 10 hours on it,) and I'll start working whenever I get the chance. I am also going to place a checkmark next to all achievements that have been completed by any member. Now you'll be able to see which achievements nobody has and you can aim for them.

You guys should find the achievements page pretty cool. Its got the same feel as the old one with some cool additions such as the flipping of the pages (pull on the edges of the page to flip back and forth..duh.) I have added alot of new achievements, plus I've added old ones that were not on the old achievement page. All the campaign achievements are there also. Achievements highlighted in RED are considered to be the most difficult, and you should feel like a badass if you get one.

You can also see that there is a button for Survivor Stories. This will house recaps for each event, as well as promotional media for upcoming events.

AMAZING work man, I am so very proud of you! I especially liked the main menu screen (Possible new site format? Maybe too much white?) It has a really ominous feel to it. And all of the subtle little doodles and notes in the GTA Achievements journal were really cool, and I saw a picture in particular that I really liked!

Lol glad you like it too. Yea to be honest that main menu screen was like just a filler, because I really wanted to get the achievements page up before this weekend. But Im kind of warming up to it now. It'll probaly change in the near future though.

I think you should atleast have some sort of instructions on how to use the Achievements page. I thought it was just one picture untill I read your post about it. Also nice music going on there.

well im not a rocket scientist or anything, but before the "turn me" thing was there i had to look at it for like 10 seconds. Then i thought, wait if this is a book and i want to get to the next page what would i do in real life.... oh yea turn the page. Its not hard people, try to think a little bit and not have everything with a giant sign saying click here to make the next page pop up.

Obviously you forget that the collective IQ of the internet is 14.
