I JUST GOT MY PERMIT!!!! =)))

Congrats but is it a full licence or is it like here in New Zealand were you have to go through 2 stages of licence before you get your full?

The USA... I actually won't even get my permit until next year because of New Jersey state law. 1994 and up have to wait another year... I had just missed the god damn cut. Jersey sucks when it comes to laws...

In the USA it's EASY to get your drivers license compared to most other countries. Other European road tests for example require you to know how to change a tire, oil, etc... as part of the test. I saw a article a few months ago, that if all USA licensed drivers had to retake their road test right now, 84% would fail.

We have ice-driving and whatnot as a part of the drivers license test...

And the System in USA is pretty strange. You can get a drivers license at age of 16 but can't buy ANY alcohol untill you're 21? Sounds so absurd...

The only country in Europe I think has a hard driving course is the Germans. Them fuckers strict when it comes to cars

I think other nearby countries are strict too, but yeah I guess the germans especially. I think it's good that they are very strict; it makes everyone a good driver. They have the Autobahn, and yet have not even close to the amount of accident related deaths as we do, and their going 120+ mph. If we had no speed limit in the USA the interstate would be a graveyard...

If you ask me if you want people to drive safe, instead of putting in an airbag put a spring loaded machete pointed at the drivers neck. Noone will drive over 3 miles per hour.

3mph? I think walking would be faster (and thouands cheaper)
