ALIGNMENT
Alignment is the system used in Role playing games, specifically Dungeons and Dragons. It basically outlines your characters morals and ethics.

Read this article that summarizes the system.
Your alignment during ZRP applies to how your character acts during the game. This determines if he/she is someone who works well within a group, can follow orders, cares for the lives of others, or works well alone, wills to harm other players and does not care for others. By choosing your alignment for your character you MUST act according to what you chose. For example if you are a lawfully good character you should NEVER kill another player on purpose. Your alignment and other traits for your character including equipment may change, in order to do this delete your original post and re-post it. Do not use the "edit" option because your change will go under the radar and nobody will notice.
ARCHETYPE
There are three archetypes.
-Enforcer: Classes that specialize in combat. Ex. Soldier.
-Medic: Classes that specialize in healing. Ex. Doctor, Priest
-Support: Classes that work especially well with groups. There abilities benefit a team and can be necessary for long term survival.
There must be AT LEAST one of each archetype in a ZRP game.
WEAPON SYSTEM
The old weapon level system is gone. It was stupid and too confusing. From now we are keeping it simple by specifying which weapons players can use. This means that classes can use:
Assault Rifles, SMG's, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, Handguns, Grenades, Molotov Cocktails.
Most of the time it wont be specified "which" assault rifle/smg/shotgun ect. This is because it can be difficult getting that specific weapon in a ZRP game. You must write which weapons your character can use. The soldier is one of the only characters who has the ability to use every weapon on the first day. After the first day (if you survive 1 full game) you have the ability to use any weapon no matter what class you are. If you die you restart from day 1.
Medics are prone to using melee combat, handguns (specifically glock), and SMG's.
Enforcers can use any of the weapons but no character can use all of them.
Support classes are prone to melee combat, handguns, SMS, Snipers, and projectiles.

so u mean that by naming characters, we gunna have to stick with only one class? like lets say that im a soldier, im gunna have to be one in every ZRP game?

This class is a bit overpowered. I would take one set of grenades out and the backback. So its an SMG and a set of grenades.

No, you can change it, but we are hoping to bring ZRP to be a more long term experience, with players surviving multiple games (although hard.)

Overpowered. The deagle is incredibly powerful. Through scavenging its possible you will find other weapons.

Right, but HOW do you get abilities? Like, how do you acquire them? Once you meet another medic you immediately earn the ability? Is the ability the full scale version, or is it cut back?
To everyone making classes: You guys are all making high tier characters. The soldier should be the most powerful enforcer in the room. If your character is more powerful than that, something is wrong.

Equipment: (In Government buildings and Police Stations)
Abilities: Increased Scavenging ability in government buildings and Police Stations. Can use persuasion to make neutral characters join him, and evil characters walk away without shooting him.
Quest: Destroy possible terrorists/ corrupt Military or Politicians within the city. (Team may scavenge and keep everything the enemy is carrying, corrupt Politicians or terrorists leading a group may do the same to any group lead by the Politician.
Alignment: Lawful Good
Back story : If there was anyone doing anything correctly in American Government, it was Bill Freedom. He knew what to do for America, and knows when politicians are corrupt and give in to bribe. After being elected as Senator six times, the zombie outbreak rolled on in, and a new set of chaotic rules set in. His job is to set American right again, and take the wastelands into a new America, and bring order to the Anarchy in Liberty city.

Ok i see what you mean ok maybe after a hour of time spending with the character he wants to copy he can with permission of the other character all abilitys are copied also should i put in that the charaecter can heal other players or is that a common skill?

That's pretty much a beefed up detective.

I would say drop the scavenge ability, but that's still a civilian with a deagle and body armor.

EVERYONE GO BACK AND MAKE 3 DIFFERENT CLASSES. ONE FOR EACH ARCHETYPE. It'd be better if you deleted your first one and re-posted your 3 classes.

EVERYONE GO BACK AND MAKE 3 DIFFERENT CLASSES. ONE FOR EACH ARCHETYPE. It'd be better if you deleted your first one and re-posted your 3 classes.
