Bad Company 2 Review

Like the typical IGN, the review is based on the single player only. They said there were some issues with the campaign, and it wasn't that special, and I mostly agree with them but I want this game for the multiplayer only. That's were it shines and I think its a fresh new experience compared to MW2. They said the multiplayer is a very team based game unlike MW2, and its very intense. If you liked the demo, you'll love the game, more maps, more guns, more vehicles, etc.

BFBC2 comes out March 2, this Tuesday. If you reserve it at game stop you'll get day one access to Squad Deathmatch, which is four teams of four against each other. Also you get the AK-74U submachine gun. If you played BF 1943, you also get the Thompson and M19 Colt.

Also, there is a possibility we can do zombies in this and it can be a lot of fun if it works. When I'll get the game, I test it out and tell you guys if it works. If it does, I strongly suggest you buy the game.

No team caps? And do private matches actually exist unlike in 1943?

I was thinking we can play zombies on Bad Company 2 like we do in GTA, four players start as humans, the rest as zombies. There is this game mode called Squad Deathmatch, were there are four teams of four fighting each other. We can have one team as humans vs three teams of zombies. Once again, it might not work because the game didn't come out yet and I'm not 100% positive, or we might get lucky and there wont be any team caps and we will be able to change teams. Guess we can only wait and find out on Tuesday.

I don't think there has ever been a chance to change manually in any BF games. Also every single BF so far has had a team cap, so it isn't looking good. But the squad deathmatch sounds like it could work as a zombie mode. And with that everyone would get to be a human equally. Every 4th round that is.

Even Hitler is pissed of at the review IGN gave Bad Company.

Don't care what IGN said about the game. Bad Company 2 is going to be freaking awesome!

Just got some new info. There will be a map pack released on March 2nd and will be free for players who bought the game new. With every new copy of BFBC2 there will be a VIP code and you use it to unlock 2 new maps. One, is a brand new Rush map called Nelson Bay and its at night. The other is a conquest game mode for Laguna Alta. If you buy a used copy of Bad Company, you have to pay 15$.

Later in March another map pack will be released containing Arica Harbor

Hey, that's actually a really creative way to use DLC in the long-lasting fight against selling used games.

Yea its really smart idea but Mass Effect 2 did it first. They had the Cerberus network, which was a place to download free new stuff, but if you had a used copy, Cerberus network cost like $30.

What? Spawn killing is one of the things that has bugged BF series from day one. You always spawn at the flag you choose, so if your team has only 1 flag anyone can parachute on top of a building and spawnkill for as long as they don't run out of ammo... Oh wait, didn't they add infinite ammo? Yeah... And the worst thing is, no kill cam or anything of the likes of that to expose the location of the spawnkiller so you'll just get spawn killed without knowing where the killer is shooting from.

Since when is 8.9 a bad review? If your asking for anything more I think you have a little too much confidence in the game.

I'm trying to play this demo and I cant connect. Fucking EA games have to connect to the EA online and if you have the slightest hiccup in connection you cant connect. I can play mw2 right now perfectly 4 bars no lag, but I cant connect to Battlefield. I remember that happened to me and Cry all the time in Battlefield 1943.

Stop trying to hate on the game, the demo ended a while ago, they pulled the servers.

whether or not we can do zombies on this is no longer and issue to me. The game looks amazing enough to me and there are a ton of tactical scenarios possible with private games

Well atleast you didn't get banned for trying to play the demo after it had finished. That hapenned to me once. Can't remember the game, but it had been on my hard drive for ages and I decided to try it again, and I got disconnected from XBL and after signing in I got told I had been suspended for a month...
