Figured I'd give a heads up to anyone who cares on here. Turns out our rent is so behind we're going to be kicked out. While not as important as me being homeless in a few weeks, this means no internet. Or 360. And it sucks.
I know this site, and its weekend matches, revolve around keeping active on the boards (wich I obviously won't be doing for a while). Just figured I'd throw out a "please don't kick me off" out there, as when I am able, I will return.

Thanks Cry. Don't know when we're officially "kicked out" yet, but it won't be much longer than a week or two I'm guessing. I'll definetly be back when I can though, the people on here are too nutty fo me to not miss it

Just remember your priorities, we're gonna be here forever, so don't worry about your membership here. Just focus on making sure you have a roof over your heads and food in your bellies man, that's the important thing, the Xbox doesn't compare.

Honestly, I think it would be more beneficial to go put in applications everywhere in a 10 mile radius, Money is what you need right now, don't worry about the 360. Wouldn't you rather not play it for a little while than never having the opportunity to play it again? I'm just saying man, given your situation I don't think it's a good time to be playing video games.

I just started a new job a few days ago after applying (and i do mean this quite literally, i live in the middle of nowhere) at every single store in a 20 mile radius, from big chains to small mom and pop shops. I barely got the job I have now, and while I'm still keeping an eye out, after 8-9 months of applying everywhere, chances aren't looking too good. Only reason I'm on today is it's one of my few days off, or I'll play at night when I get home.
It sucks, but at 19 there isn't really all that much else I can do, you know? I'm trying, but my parents are pretty in debt, and theres only so much i can do to help out cash-wise

And Redrum, I do live with them, and so there money troubles are mine too, that's why I wont have live or internet for a while after we find somewhere to move. Gonna help them out, then worry about trivial fun stuff.

I mean realizing your fucked financially and deciding "Oh it's ok the Military will bail me out!"

Ha yea I know, I wouldnt advocate joining just for the money. It is a big decision but, if you do want to join, i would say its a good thing to get experience and leadership abilities from.

Thats why I said, "I wouldnt advocate joining just for the money." Its a big decision you gotta make but, if its something you wanna do go for it. Another thing to take into account is if you would like to fly you can always become a pilot in the Airforce and when you leave the USAF, you can be a commercial airline pilot.

Well, joining the military is a big decision as said by almost everyone here. But they will put a roof over your head, the leadership, social skills and just being a soldier will improve your lifestyle and skill set. It wouldn't be a bad decision if you're really up to answering the call of duty. Although I will warn you that unless you're injured badly enough in your service you will serve a minimum of 8 years. (Might be different for other branches)

I grew up on a military base, dad was in it for years. Looking at how well off he is now, I can't say it sounds like a great idea. However, I do thank you for the advice
