Worst Series Endings Ever

Well as all of you know Lost has come to an end, and no I don't think the ending was bad I thought it was great actually. But all of season 6 I was praying it wouldn't be terrible and my prayers have been answered. Now that it's over and I have nothing to worry about I was wondering what some of the worst endings to a series ever are. In my opinion I think the Seinfeld ending was horrific, though I'm not a fan of the show I can't imagine how upset I would be if I was. What are some series endings that you think are the worst EVER?

i don't think samurai jack had a real ending, although it was never officially canceled.

id have to agree with you on seinfeld. I actually do watch that show and it wasnt nearly as good as it could have been.

Magicman, they were all ended one episode before the last (or in Kain, right before the last game)

I can't think of a worse ending than missing a last episode

possibly maybe just a horrendous last series because it completely strayed away from its key concept...

Well when Fox decides to turn what was supposed to be one season miniseries in to a six season long series, you can't expect anything good from it...

Now i could be wrong here, but that last episode of Samurai Jack was him finding a baby and returning it to its mother, im not sure how that leads to the last episode, and sense the show was never officially canceled, it still hasn't technically ended.

I think Life On Mars, had a terrible ending. It was a good show but they had to remove one season because it was getting canceled. Because of this they had to end it really quickly and it turned out the whole show was a dream of an astronaut on his way to mars in a spaceship.

I wish I appreciated Samurai Jack when it was still on. Looking back, it seems like such a cool show.

Blue's Clues officially ended for me when they replaced Steve, so...

Yea i heard thats why he left but, it still goes down as one of the worst ways to "end" the show.

EDIT:After reviewing many websites it turns out Steve left because he wanted to pursue his music career. The myths about the sleeves and heroin are also false

P.S. Apparently the reason Mr. Rogers wore sweaters all the time was to cover up his USMC tatoos.

Yup. Steve was never into heroine. He was into, though, giving up his over a million dollar for a music career with his band. Yea, that would go well.

The Sopranos, say what you will about interpreting the ending but unlike Lost, there was no speculation or intense research done by people during the show's run.

Also on an Animu level, the ending to Neon Genesis Evangelion. I'm pretty sure that the team behind the series ran out of money at the end so the last episode is alot of recuts and shots from previous episodes, it ends with the entire cast saying "Congratulations!"

It's been years since I saw NGE, but are you talking about the movie "The End of Evangelion" or the last actual anime episode? Cause if I remember correctly, the movie actually is more like an extra long ending episode that was planned from the beginning.

I'm planning to re-watch NGE this summer, then watching the rest of the NGE movies and the one that just came out. Though I think The End of Evangelion was pretty much a perfect ending, so I'm a bit uncertain if I'll like the other movies, since I've never seen them before.

I'm talking about the show, not The End of Evangelion.

I liked EoE but the show ended on a crappy note. Still waiting on a good sub of Evangelion 2.0 so I can watch 1.0.

Also, I just finished Gurren Lagann which is awesome but fucking batshit nuts at the end.

The finale of the Sopranos was awesome. Unlike Lost, The Sopranos isn't a mystery. It told a realistic story and wasn't meant to be speculated like Lost was. Overall I think it did an excellent job ending the series.
