GTA 4 problem/glitch

I have a problem. When I go to join a game (or are invited) in GTA, sometimes I get a message that says I am connecting, hear the voice chat for a few moments, then I am disconnected. Has anyone else encountered this problem? and if so, has anyone found a solution.

Possibly someone in the lobby that effects your connectivity?

im thinking that maybe the lobby is full or something. It happened when I got invited for the parkour hunt thing, which sucked because I couldn't get another invite

that happens when u gots no ping, reset yur router

connection problem... is this the first time its ever happened to you???? its happened to me since like day 1 of playing it

its been happening since day one to me, but it hasn't really affected anything until yesterday, when I disconnected from the parkour match and couldn't get an invite back.
Is there any permanant fix for this?

It happens to me sometimes as well mostly because there is someone in the lobby you cannot connect to. Usually turning off your router by the wall for 30 seconds fixes it but I don't think there's any permanent solution
