Thoughts on Fallout new vegas?

Well fallout new vegas is coming out tomorrow i just want to know what you think of the game & if you going to buy it

It has been out for the U.S since the 19th and I am very close to beating it, then I am going to beat the side missions,it is alot of fun so far.

I agree with Fattboy, although I haven't gotten far, I've been having a lot of pleasure with the new weapons and what not.

Alright, so I finally got the game today.

It's much better than I had expected. Yeah the engine is exactly the same as Fallout 3, but so what? The game engine sure as hell wasn't the reason Fallout 3 sucked so much.

The perks work better and make more sense now, though I was hoping you'd get a new perk only every 3 levels. But every 2 levels is an improvement too. The story and the world are much more like in Fallout 1 & 2, where as Fallout 3's setting and world was boring as hell.

Ill be sure to let you know what I think as soon as I get a chance to play it. (The infamous "No DLC Present" glitch has hit me, leaving me with no choice but to wait for a new patch to come out). If you don't know about this glitch, be sure to check out the Fallout forums on Bethesda's website and check under the Fallout: New Vegas Xbox 360 issues topic, there's pages of whining.

Just "bought" it. In my opinion it pretty bad. But i also hated fallout 3. So don't listen to me whatsoever =]

Why would you buy the game that's pretty much exactly like Fallout 3 in terms of graphics, engine, and gameplay?

The quotation marks are there for a reason. i didn't actually buy it

I don't see why you would even bother to download it when you hated Fallout 3.

It was free. I dont regret it

I don't care that you pirated it, I'm just saying you wasted your time doing so.

I thought it was a good game I just now got started on the side missions.

which ending did you do?

The one where I help Mr. House reclaim vegas and activate his robot army.

Fallout new vegas is a great game and im just about done with the main story give or take and find that its fallout 3 thats somewhat brighter and colorful but still dark and kinda like an expansion pack

also their are way to many glitches in the game for my taste, hell i found one that let me get to lv 30 in 10mins

i only rented the game to try it out because i never really played fallout 3

all in all its a great game if you wanted more fallout 3 and have been looking for an excuse to do so
