2011 Confirmed To Be Best Year Ever

It was announced today by God our lord and savior that 2011 will be the greatest year to ever grace mankind and the rest of the universe. Most of this will be due to the orgasmically ridiculous holiday video game line up.

Skyrim will be a subpar game just like every Elder Scrolls game. Why don't they stop making them? All you do is run around in circles, they should stick to making the main Fallout games. 10 times better, imo.

My most anticipated games for next year were Brink and Homefront and now with the other games being announced I don't know how I will be able to get them all. (Does anyone need their kidneys?)

Aliens: Colonial Marines (just one of my favorites and has been held back alot)

I'll probably get all three of those games, although I'm more excited about Elder Scrolls.

Not oblivion it is called The Elder scrolls: Skyrim, it was only Oblivion for one game why do people only associate The Elder scrolls series with one game, morrowind was amazing as well and no one calls it that.

It even had a better theme song as well,although oblivions was good. Also nothing beats going around on morrowind playing as a werewolf {oblivion as well on pc version} and killing quest essential npcs so the truth is lost forever.

I have a feeling that Skyrim is going to be more like Cyrodiil and not Morrowind. It's not the end of the world, but Morrowind was just such a more engaging and interesting place to explore and adventure in.

Its going to take place in Skyrim where the Nords live,far away from Morrowind and Cyrodil.

Cant wait for the new Elder Scrolls game, IF it does have Co-op you guys know that its more than likely that i can and will be playin that game for 12+ hours at a time with fattyboy since no one else shows interest in the game ( bunch of faggots ) and then me and fattyboy shall take over Skyrim and rain down hell with our enchanted arrows

That is correct.

I have this feeling that it will be more aesthetically, atmospherically, and culturally similar to Cyrodiil. For instance, in the Bloodmoon expansion pack, you could clearly see the similarities between the architecture of the Nords and the Imperials. We're also possibly going to be dealing with even less "minorities" than in Oblivion, as the icy northern regions don't suit the bestial races very much at all. In my opinion, Bethesda went down the wrong path by increasing similarities to our own world, increasing the realism born of the human history that we are familiar with. Then again, this is coming from a big Morrowind fan, so...

I'll just have to wait and see.
