Tales of Eaglendia - RPG Demo

o_O Inspired by Fattyboy, I booted up VX for the first time in a while and worked through the day.

So... let me know what you think, and report any glitches. This should come packaged with the RTP--so you won't have to download any additional packages to get it up and running, I think.

Post a screenshot of you reaching the end of the demo, and I'll do my best to immortalize a concept of your choice into the game.

To make some things clear:
Everything in the game is done with arrow keys and Enter. Use ESC to open your menu. It is important.

Oh, and one final bonus.
Tell me the source or name of at least four of the songs used in the demo--not the default RPG Maker ones, but there are others--and be made into a secret bonus boss. Do this in a PM for your own sake.

actually i beat it about a half hour ago, seconds not bad though.

DEAL WITH IT.

I admit I made them too strong. You pretty much have to focus them down--and they resist Slashing and Fire (Johnny's Swords deal Slashing damage, and his Flame attack deals both types). Without higher levels, they're unkillable.

Ideas:
-MSPC area. Include the ten champions + Sigmatic Scholar.
-Perhaps a Sigmatic Plane thing?
-Sylvetican Strife/Meaningless Battle tie-ins

The prequel, The Bman rpg is in the works which leads up to when Bardia becomes a god.

And I think there should be references to the "Great Kingdom of Sigma" but when the player finally gets there, it's just one guy in a shack spouting nonsense. But if you give him food or something silly like that, he teaches you Sigmatic Techniques.

Yeah, so that was kinda weird. Too lazy to play the game right now. Have to go to the plaza. How is it? Is my character a total douche?

I'd be offended if he wasn't.

I think if someone wins they should ask for Nick to be a bigger character.

Like maybe you have to best him in a dance competition at some point.
