LA Noire Reviews?

Heard it was good, just want to make sure

IGN gave it an 8.5 I believe. The main problem was being too repetitive.

8.5 Sounds good, but i hate repitive games, so annoying

Wish this game had like a free mode or some kind of multiplayer

If you want a sandbox game just play GTA or RDR. LA Noire was never supposed to be a multiplayer game, I don't get why people are upset by that.

It is a 3 disc game on xbox.

And some games just are not meant for multiplayer. LA Noire is exactly the type.

Yeah really, they confirmed no multiplayer months ago.

Nope, never did. Just like Mafia 2, Oblivion and all the Fallouts, sometimes multiplayer just ruins games.
Still cant believe it's going to be a 3 disk game!

But I would love Co-Op in a game like Fallout or Oblivion with Proximity chat and a story that is affected based on what each person does alone or together.

That would be pretty sick, kind of like Borderlands, but that game wasn't really good in my opinion. We should develope a game like you're describing, I've had a dream to become a game developer/publisher for a long time, and I already have some great ideas myself

Just saying La noire multiplayer would have been really fun

Agreed, this game doesn't belong in the multiplayer world.

Although, I think Fallout and Elder Scrolls would be interesting if there could be two player capabilities, and that the game reacted to what those characters did alone or together. I think that would be a great idea. But no more than two. Wouldn't want something like Borderlands.

getting this game on friday it looks great

Make sure you tell us what you rate it, and the general plot, ect

Rented it today, got a few cases done and it's really good. I like that you need to actually think when playing this or you fail miserably. Graphics are amazing, dialogue is interesting, characters are well defined, and combat is VERY satisfying. It's also cool to be able to answer calls from dispatch and tackle street crimes. Only real problem is that when you make the wrong choice, you know it, because you get a big X in your notebook by the question and in my opinion that kind of spoils it a little bit. Yeah you know what to say next time you replay it, but I would rather wait until the end of the case then right on the spot to know what I did/said wrong. As for replayability, not sure because I haven't finished it yet.

And I have been watching many youtube vids/ reading reviews on LA Noire; still looking into every aspect of the game further.

I really want to buy this game. But like KZ said:

"IT'S REAL FUCKING LIFE AND IT'S ANNOYING!"

Don't get me wrong, he liked it, but I thought this was funny.

It is definitely a unique game, in a good way

I heard it is very repetitive...

From what I can gather from the videos I've watched, it looks like it. But that's reality actually. Human behavior doesn't change really, you can come to predict it, but all in all, it's looks really well made. Like an interactive movie actually.
