New update for dashboard

Meh. Might be cool

Is it just me or are the dashboard updates getting more and more horrible as time goes on? Jesus and I thought I hated this one enough (with the blinding white light at night). And if microsoft really keeps trying to shove kinect in people's faces that don't want it, there is no way i'm buying the next gen console.

Reminds me of PS3

I can't see anything wrong with this dashboard. I actually think its a big improvement, everything is finally consolidated on one screen.

I'd say a Wii a lot more than a PS3. I mean look at it; with kinect, these slow updates... they are copying a bad system (imo) little by little.

I agree, I'm liking it more.

I think the majority of people just don't like anything changing. But it looks fine to me.

Yeah, the more versions of the Dashboard come out, the more of our older themes become use-less, or just look ugly.

Anyway, I sorta like the look of this better, you can actually see the bottom of your theme, not some random white line, which kind of rips you off with some themes using our current dashboard.

I think Microsoft is totally ignoring the controller part of the xbox, seeing as they implemented tons of features for the kinect sensor, but nothing about "Well, if you don't have a kinect sensor, yadda yadda, your controller does this, yadda yadda".

I just feel like if you don't have a kinect sensor, microsoft doesn't care about you anymore.

In my conclusion, this seems more use-able, and I welcome the change, just wish they would update old themes so you could use them normally, and pay at least some attention to people that don't have kinect.

Same just in the way of the movement Instead of vertical then horizontal menu selection now its gone tio the PS3 format of horizontal to vertical... just keep getting worse

I don't really see the issue here. I hope they give you the option to choose between which layout you'll have, though, simply because this one seems like it'd be more fitting for kinect.

This update couldn't be any worse than the shit we have now. I'll be the first to admit the original dashboard was the best.

But honestly anything is an improvement now. And who cares if the dashboard is like PS3? It's not gonna copy the shitty multiplayer.

have any of you's noticed that there is a thing on the far left it say bing could this mean web browser ?

There is supposed to be YouTube and web browsing.

Source? I haven't heard anything about a web browser. I just know that the BING search engine is incorporated.
