I could imagine an older person having a heart attack (and obviously people often die from heart attacks) from being surprised, but not just from being scared.

Just imagine if you were the kid who showed this thing to your grandfather. You think it'll scare the hell out of him, and then it flat out gives him a heart attack and he dies. You'd be the family pariah, the asshole who killed grandpa. If it is actually true, it sucks to be those people.

EDIT: I mean to say, you could jump around a corner and yell "BOO!" and kill someone. They just have to be surprised enough.

Unless it's an Adult Cartoon, this seems really exaggerated.

Well, they'd have to be surprised enough AND have a heart condition. You can't really surprise a completely healthy person to death. But yeah, an older person I can see suffering a heart attack from a shock, though I don't know if this comic could produce a shock that would kill most people with heart conditions.

I'm sure plenty of people have seen it, so you'd think there would be a fairly good chance some of them had heart conditions or were older, and out of that group I'm sure it's possible a few were incredibly surprised.

I'm not saying I believe it happened, as I haven't heard anything about it and have no reason to believe it, I'm just saying it doesn't sound impossible by any means.
