I Am Alive for XBLA

Wow, I am shocked as I Am Alive not only has been given a release window for this winter, but has been announced as an arcade game.



I am skeptical that the game is suddenly an arcade game, but this may not be a bad thing. Plus from the trailer the game looks neat. Seems to be a lot of parkour elements, and I like the interactions with other groups of survivors.

I hope this game is good, could be terrible though.

It wasn't able to load the video for me, but holy shit. I remember reading about this in a game magazine it seems like years ago. I was so intrigued by this game, I almost decided to write a letter to the magazine to ask about it.

Seems a bit disappointing that it's an arcade game, and one with parkour at that. Though I shouldn't judge, as I haven't seen the video yet. My main problem with the parkour element is that I thought this game would be about survival (just survival, not survival horror for once). If you can do parkour, it almost seems guaranteed you'll be able to survive easily. Just use your ridiculously good parkour skills to escape from enemies, climb to the top of safe buildings, get into places through the windows, etc..

Wasn't this first suppose to be about some office worker trying to survive in an earthquake struck Chicago?

Now it looks just like another post-apocalyptic survival game.

That's definitely how I remember it. The gameplay looks like a mix of RE5 and Uncharted.

And of course they had to change the character into some scruffy bearded asshat wearing a vest with lots of pockets. A common office worker would be too believable and easy to relate to.

Seems to have a lot of elements from splinter cell conviction. Lone father, climbing up buildings and stuff, one against many.

Wow, I wanted this many years Ago. That was also the time I wanted Military Madness remade from the ps1 to A new console. I never thought they would both be A reality.

Im really excited about this game, I have been wanting to play ever since it first got announced! (And that was a long time ago) It looks really great and Im confident they will turn it into a good game.
