Christmas or new year event

I was just wondering do we host a christmas or new year special event?

Based on the past, usually there is no "big UX event", as we feel Christmas is a time to spend with the family (whereas h-ween is a site special). On top of that, many members usually receive new 360 games, so they will be busy playing them and enjoying themselves as is.

However, event or not, there are still many things to look forward to, such as (but not limited to):

- ZKOTY (coming with an emblem on your profile that will stay for ll of 2012, not just the month, and misc prizes)

- eaustinn's giveaway ~ last years: http://www.undead-xbox.com/t5260-eaustinn-s-holiday-gift-to-the-ux-community (and yes, I plan on doing something similar again)

- misc forum activities, including possible "challenges" or other stuff

I might host something in early december. If I do, I'll make a topic soon.

Back in the day we did a New Years Party in Algonquin, Times Square. It was like a ball drop party but on GTA. Was pretty fun.

Some of my friends and I get together every year for our annual Kwanzaa game-fest. I haven't thought to invite anyone from the site before though.

On New Year's Eve I am usually out of town (like last year), but if not out this year, then we are so doing this!

The only holiday event I can remember well was last years 4th of July, BoGT fireworks display was great!

Personally i think a thanksgiving or a Christmas Event would be excellent, just think about it like a week before christmas we host a bunch of game all day,just like night of the shambler it could get a lot of the undead xbox community involved.
