Minecraft Server!

I will be willing to start a Minecraft server, it will start as no plug-in or addon (more than likely) server, for Minecraft 1.0.0 release. If I get enough positive comments I would be happy to start one, but I wont without at least a few peoples support.

we did have one before hand but it couldnt be hosted anymore, it would be nice if we could get the old map back and get ti running again, we put some good work into that server

Okay, one: Good, I will get to work on setting up the server, should be up by VERY early tomorrow. Second, what do you mean "online insecure mode"? Do you mean Online mode so only people who bought can only join? If so, I am leaving it on. Sorry, but Minecraft is so awesome, but life isn't free. Okay, thanks for the support!

Can you make a lava survival server?

Question. I haven't been keeping up with the minecraft updates however, are traffic servers still local based or do they offer some sort of out sourced sever space on Notch's end?
Also, can we start a survival mod? I have been watching too much yogscast and now I am addicted to survival mods.

In an hour or so I will be starting up the server, it will be survival Multiplayer(unless I change the gamemode for some one). Write in your Minecraft names here and I will put you on the white list, timer starts now!

It says I have no connection on Hamachi Logmein...

Real quickly, any client mods will not appear on you server renegade unless there is a server version you have installed. Too Many Items will work on your server as long as you are OP'ed.

Also I am sad to say that I will not open up my server anytime soon. I need my internet for school work (thus explains my absence in zombie nights) and my education and the server took up to much bandwidth and hard drive space. I no longer have the map (sorry to all) and hope to reopen in the future (except with less spawning of items).

Sad to hear that your server is gone. Still, I kind of knew that a lot of the mods wouldn't work, but I had to try. I guess I feel better as it feels like you sort of passed the torch.

Everyone trying to join ,do not fret. I have JUST started the server, and the white-list does not like me at the moment. Give it some time, please.

You don't have to have spaces in between links on this site like on YouTube. You can just put the full address like: http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/
It's actually more convenient, as you can just copy and paste links, and we can look into them right away.

By the way, I'm really interested in this. I'm going to try to send you an e-mail and get on your list thing, but I'm pretty new to this stuff so I'm not entirely sure how this works.

I am remarkably tired. Anyways, I know you don't need spaces but every time I put NORMAL links, it says my profile needs to be 7 days old. So, yeah.
Second, the white list is now gone because it wasn't working and yeah. So use the information before hand to find out how to connect. At 11:00 AM I will start the server up again. It will last until I cannot have it up anymore.
P.S I may sometimes not be on to watch the server, but I have the Java Gui thing so I can ban, and also announce things. There is a lowdown.
