I just got back from a Trip to america.....i went to new york, new jersey, conneticut and vermont and i noticed some rather big differences between england and america

1: WTF is Tosh.0? i turned it on and there was an ad for a penis massager!

2:Adverts in america are fucking weird

3:Houses are very different, down my street all of the house lay outs are the same but in america they are all completely different

4: Whats White Castle!

5:Hersey Bars are Amazing

6:Why do you have Chips for breakfast

7:Americans are very friendly. so friendly that its boardering on weird

8:Taco Bell is SHIT!

9:why do you add on tax to everying at the till? why noyt just have it on the price tag?

theses are the things i noticed in america .......that is all.......

It's a show that shows a lot of videos from the internet. The massager thing was probably a joke.

That's to make houses harder to rob. It confuses burglars when they don't know what they're going into.

Also, because we like variety. Like how we all have different cars and clothes and such, we also prefer unique houses. But there are some places where the houses are all the same, but they're called apartments (I guess you'd call them flats) or town houses, which are essentially just more expensive and slightly better apartments.

It's a fast food restaurant that serves small hamburgers and cheeseburgers, and presumably fries as well. The burgers are generally small and square, and pretty good. You can buy them in boxes at some grocery stores in America.

That annoys me as well. Especially when I'm low on money and have to be sure I'm going to be able to afford a purchase with the tax added on. It probably has something to do with states having different tax rates or something, and presumably the amount of taxes fluctuating.

Areas like those aren't too common, at least not in most states. In my neighborhood, there is one little section filled with uniform houses like that, but it's only like 20 houses.

1. Tosh.0 is a hilarious show but mostly pretty perverted.
2. What adverts are you talking about. In Europe your commercials have naked women talking about how great a newshampoo is.
3. We do have some identical houses. In my neighborhood for example their are about 5 layouts that all the houses are based off of.
4. There are no white castles in Colorado, but i have had the grocery store box version and they are ok.
5. Hershey bars are amazing but i prefer KitKat
6. I think you are talking about hashbrowns which is my breakfeast item of choice. Very Happy

7. Americans very dependingon were you are in the country sooo much, in the south for example everyone is very friendlybutthey all move veryslow and take their sweet time, in Colorado people come off a little more rude becuase we are always trying to get somewheres.
8. Taco Bell is pretty good, but the cheesy gordida crunch is absolute heaven.
9. The tax thing is annoying and i would prefer that they would just add it on.

It's a later night comedy show that revolves round showing online videos of painful/weird/freaky videos on the air. It definitely has a unique sense of humor (I don't watch it much).

Yep. In America, "bigger is better" (which is stupid since many people have been buying homes they cant afford). Don't get too impressed by the sights though, and most of them are built really cheaply; during a really bad storm some feel like they might fall apart. Aside from that though, they are also more "spread out" in America, since the nation is so much bigger and that there is more land.

Because America lives by "consumerism" (people buying things). "$9.99" looks better on a price tag than "$10.79" (including tax), and even though you will pay the same, it could be the difference between the store selling the item and not selling it.

Over here it's mainly Hershey's and Dark chocolate that are the common ones.

But question: Does England make it's own (euro) chocolate, or do you import it from Switzerland / Germany?

I'm fairy sure that most of the main chocolates over here are made in the UK; although you do see some Swiss chocolates. Mainly in expensive shops.
