Someone played some Jimi Hendrix through his headset tonight, and people called it shit, and I'm pretty sure eaustinn36 did too. So yeah, fuck you to everyone who did. :P

Was referring to the quality. Using in-game chat, any music, good or bad, played through a mic sounds like garbage on the other end. It is infinitely better in party chat. This is true for all music; never said the music itself was bad.

Because people have different opinions. Not everyone likes Bob Dylan, but try to find a good artist from the time who says he didn't look up to him.

Also, comparing Jesus to Jimi freakin Hendrix is kind of in bad taste.

Yeah, well, bringing Jimi up was a joke on my half but it got out of hand a little... anyway, not everyone can like him, and I fully know this. Even those who don't like him though, usually aknowledge his skill without being into that type of thing at all. Maybe it's just a massive bandwagon everyone jumps on because disliking him always causes a shitstorm, or maybe it says something about how good he was. Probably both.

On an quasi-related note, google searching "Jimi Hendrix is shit" results are pretty interesting, in how it's really hard to find anyone actually saying that, even if you leave the quotations on it and do an exact search.
