Seems to be a bit slim on details. Is this real? Why exactly would Vladimir Putin just decide "You know what? I'm gonna let the news know that we have this devious, mind control device that we might use on people soon to achieve political goals.".
It just boggles my mind why it looks like he gave an interview about something you'd think would be a secret weapon. Is he brain-dead? Has he been standing in front of this thing during testing?

These wouldn't be true "zombies", in the sense they are still alive. These would be closer to voodoo zombies, which are really just people with massive brain damage.

If it is legit, Putin is using scare tactics i.e. "Fuck with us and we'll turn you into zombies"
