I actually don't mind it being released in September, because it will give them more time to make the game more "supreme"

im sorry but the only way im probably gonna wind up happy with this announcement is if they open the hatch with an open beta or at least talk about what they still need to work on not just oh tweaks need to be made

also they are probably doing this to coincide with the new console releases SO THANKS ASSHOLES ....... im not gonna lie i still love you rock star, just work with us not against us.

I'm disappointed with the announcement, but Rockstar is a company I trust. I'd rather play a more-perfect game a little bit later than a rushed game tomorrow.

if they keep everything thy had in 4, as in the multilayer features and merely expanded on them ill be happy

I'm not sure what all they're removing. They're changing the mission variety, removing relationships, decreasing the frequency of phonecalls (or maybe outright eliminating it), but that's all I've got off the top of my head

Well it will probally come out on the 360 4 months before the new system comes out... i was wondering why they were not releasing the date.

The funny thing is, they released 3 main series games for the previous generation, and 2 spin-offs. But for the current gen, they've only managed one release and the second one is coming just months before the next gen...

I consider rockstar currently as the only gaming company left that hasn't "fucked me" at least once...

But I swear i'll be so pissed if the release delay was for no other reason than to appear on the new console instead. If GTA5 isn't a release whatsoever for the 360, Rockstar is on my blacklist.

Highly unlikely, considering there's absolutely no info on the next gen consoles and they probably won't even be released by september...

everyone remember gta4 was delayed too apirl 28 and it till kicks ass so this delayed could be a good thing so they can make gta5 more kickass when it come out

They still need to be upfront with the fans. Be honest cause to me 5 months seems like alot, especially after 5 years, but i also understand that from a design aspect it takes alot of time to work out bugs and polish everything.

Regardless in an industry filled with companies shitting on the consumer, everyone tends to gravitate to developers who put the time and effort and really give the consumer the bang for there buck (and there is also the latter) i know whole-hardheartedly the game will be fucking amazing

They still need to deal with the shit storm they have created because everyone is thinking they are pushing it to the next gen consoles and this just pisses people off. Not to mention the popularity will die somewhat due to the fact that people are going to loose interest. I mean they really should have just announced the real date at September and not tease us with April

So you are saying you wouldn't upgrade to a new console if gta5 comes out on the nextgen.

Don't think of it as a $400 game think of it as "Oh boy new console I can't wait to play all the new games for this"
