gta machinima ideas

because gta is extremely ideal for machima (if you have the right techniques and people), i just wanted to hear some of the ideas out there that might be floating around

mine is a military squad drives a convoy into the quarantined Liberty City to reach the UN building and recover vital documents that were left in the chaos. Halfway there the convoy crashes for whatever reason and must continue on foot.

I like that idea mboddz but do you have a capture card? I would absolutely LOVE to make a simple 6-10 minute zombie short.

I have the plans written out for a Undead-Xbox advertisment, but no movie editing software or a capture card.

Just thought I'd let you know, since the subject came up again. I still have the EasyCap. And I was planning on moving my PC from the livingroom to the bedroom next weekend, and start recording the zombie nights. Well, atleast CoD4 zombie nights, since I can't play GTA IV yet.

And after doing that, I might record a machinima, but I would only be the cameraguy. So someone else still needs to be the director who tells me where to go and what to record etc.

Dude For the past couple of weeks you've been Trolling alot

So we got 2 good filmers (FIN and Namorg)

We just need a creative person to be director. (maybe someone that has great stories on Outbreak Documentation).

I can direct

well my survival stories are good (in my opinion) but they are told through audio logs.....

As long as everyone stays in character, recording zombie RP nights would almost be good enough just to show, but something directed and scripted would probably be better. We can get ideas from things that happened before during zombies too.

we should make a short zombie film where there driving and shooting zombies and they flip and there running as they get trap a helicopter comes and kills them all or just helps then a a convoy of trucks come and they pick them and and ride away

I can try to direct. I made a zombie script for a movie I really wanted to get published but since i live in the real world and knew it would never happen, i stopped writing but got pretty much all of it done. If you guys wanna see it i can send it to you n see what u think. Maybe ill finish it and turn it into a machinima.

Hm... Well I think machinimas are a bit..."over worked." They try and stress emotions through a microphone and a poor camera angle of an object or person. The result is always the same for me, bored. I am not saying this is a bad idea, however. I promote this idea 100% I just don't fell it turning out well. But, you don't know untill you try... I am down.

lets try to make a short movie this week

My idea for an UndeadXbox would be a group of survivors blasting zombies, then some really cool angles on an approaching helicopter, cut back to survivors and have the chopper land next to them, then evac everyone and have the chopper fly over the ocean in sunset, and while the credits roll a group of zombies sprint to the shore, stop and just stare at the chopper getting away.

I think fin's idea is well thought out sounds good we should try it.

sounds good we don't have to this but maybe after that a man runs on the beach trying to get the chopper and the zombies see and run at him and he pulls out a bat and starts swinging and then gets infected
