Fallout New Vegas Debut Trailer

They're pushing it out way too soon... Considering they've had their hands pretty much full with making the DLC's the developement time for a sequel is ridicilously short. I did enjoy Fallout 3, unlike most hardcore Fallout fans, but this honestly isn't even looking average.

Everyone knows that I have a burning hatrid for Fallout 3. Its not that I dont like the game, its that I HATE the game.

Now that aside, fans of Fallout are going to like this game alot. I dont think its being pushed out too soon because I think its being made by Obsidian, not Besthesda. It looks like the same old Fallout, and judging by the popularity of the DLC, more is good. If you like Fallout, your going to enjoy playing the same game with some new features, a new location, new badies, all sorts of goodness.

Hm. Its only published by bethesda? I'll wait untill gameplay is shone before I get my hopes up. Also I just thought. Vegas is surrounded by desert so...little is going to change?

Exactly. And although you see a large city there, back in the time of Fallout, or before the bombs hit, the vegas strip didn't exist. It was just a crappy town with gangsters and thugs.

I can't tell yet, it needs a little more of a spoiler to really tell if it's good or not.

My guess (like DeadApe's) is that if you liked the first one's you like this one though.

This could potentially be good, even great.

I enjoyed Fallout 3, but I took the game with a grain of salt. It was an over ambitious game with a story that hadn't had all the kinks worked out of it.

Older fans of Fallout could possibly like this one, it seems more like the older games than Fallout 3. This being that Obsidian Entertainment is basically Interplay's Black Isle Studios (The dudes who made Fallout 1 and 2). I know a few of you are complaining that it's too soon to have a new game out but chances are these guys have been working on New Vegas for a while now.

I'll hold full judgment until I see some gameplay, but I think this could be a good game.
