DeadApes BFBC2 Multiplayer Opinion

Hello everyone. As many of you know I was not a fan of BFBC2 pre-release. I had some fun with the demo but overall I thought the game was average and cringed whenever a fanboy yelled that it would beat Infinity Wards Juggernaut. I had to go to gamestop yesterday to apply for a job and to trade in some games (and get promptly ripped off.) With my credits I figured I'd buy BFBC2. So I pre-ordered it and bought it a second later....


When I arrived home I received a phone call from czechmate24 who's only words were "It has hardcore mode." Well my friends I take back everything I said about Battlefield. The game is far from average as it surpasses MW2 by miles. Besides the EA servers crashing twice yesterday I had more fun with the game then I have ever had with a multiplayer game. The game seems balanced so far, even when we were hit with multiple tanks we could take them down using some AT4's and intelligence. Remember those clearly scripted "Battlefield moment" trailers that were released? Yea well that happened to me at least 10 times in the time I played.

I know that a lot of you have the game, but if you don't and need the push to get it, there it is.

Thank you for realizing how awesome the battlefield series is. And yeah, hardcore mode makes the game about 4 times better. I hated people that jumped out of tanks as soon as it hit 50 health, and I hated how it took a full clip to kill someone. Hardcore mode fixed this, and it's a lot better than MW2 in my opinion.

i've been waiting for a bbc2 multiplayer opinion for a while but ur post now makes me want the game even more, and im just wondering, can you buy the limited edition? like was it just a one time thing? cause im gonna probably get on the weekend and i kinda want the limited edition

Not sure whether its still available or not. They gave it to me on launch day.

Yea the hardcore mode is great on here. Just sucks you have to learn a map with no radar

yeah. I really wanted to be in a squad most of the time to spawn on my friends but. yeah i think a squad can only hold 5. and you guys love garquin more than me :'( sniffle

The game felt a lot different in the demo than it did in game. The second day i played it i liked it a lot more, especially sniping from like a mile away with a 12 power scope.

I maxed out the recon class [50 cal/m95 is amazing] and am going to max out the assault today and maybe vehicles too.

[Update] just maxed out assault as well as recon and vehicles going for gold stars for all my guns in assault I got all of them gold but the m416 and m16 .

but in all seriousness though that fuckin sucks. I believe you can actually call up microsoft and if you have or remember the console's serial number, they can find it's IP (if the thief goes on live) and therefore its location.

i want bfbc2 so bad...but ill have to buy it later because im going to quebec for a school trip and i have to save up some money to spend while there
