sorry to say but i wont be on for a while because my xbox finally kicked the bucket. i am hoping to get a new one by next next weekend but i dont know yet. hope to play you guys again soon

nah, my warranty is prolly up, ive had it since the day the 360 came out, and i have had problems with it before but i had always managed to getit working again, i just came down yesterday to play and, it had kicked the bucket

If you have E-74 or Red Ring, Your warranty is extended 3 years automatically.

E74? i have 3 quarters of the red ring and i can ussually fix it but not this time =(

i dont know what e74 is

E-74 is when internal hardware fails, most commonly the Video card melting. (Thats what happened to mine.)

When this happens, everytime you boot up your xbox, you'll get a black screen that reads, "E-74, please contact xbox customer support".

Three red rings? I can't remember what that stands for. -shrug-

well three red lights means that its dusty or sumthin inside, so far up till now every single time it happened i just used one of those air spray cans for keyboards and just sprayed it in the fan and it worked. not this time Sad

I can tell you step by step on how to fix it. Do you want?

The total cost will be about maybe $7 at most (hardware, as in a few screws and washers) and if you take it slow, it will be about maybe an hour or two but, you do run the risk of loosing your warranty.

I would wait till you get it again before trying it but, it is good info to know.
