You stand behind the counter. In front of you, the door you entered the building through, in the process ruining one of the worst barricades you have ever seen.



A different angle displays a door on one side of the room. Looks to be another of the same HATCH DOORS, but the hatch is sealed and it is bolted to the other side of the frame, making it impossible to open.



And on the left, a bricked up doorway. You don't even know how to explain this. And is that a FURNACE? That and the PAINTING OF FRUIT make you question the previous landlord's taste.



Further left, on the back wall, is this door that leads down the hall. There is nothing of note down this hallway save for the staircase at the end, which you are to assume leads up to FATTYBOY's location.

This is a painting of ORANGES. It really pisses you off for some reason. You stop looking, so no one FLIES OFF THE HANDLE.

This thing kind of sucks too. You guess you could potentially cook food or just start a fire with this thing, though it looks more like any attempt to do so would just smoke the place out.

You head upstairs. This place is really getting to you. Though still in your party, CRY VENGEANCE appoints himself to stay behind and keep an eye on things.

Following the tapping noises, you eventually reach another HATCH DOOR in the APARTMENT COMPLEX. IT and GA leer at FATTYBOY through the window.



You realize that this door is on the opposite side of the frame like the others, and would be unopenable.



That is, if you couldn't pass the WRENCH through the window. FATTYBOY places it in his ITEM INVENTORY. A few bolts later, the door comes crashing down.



What's next?

Behind the STILL LIFE is another STILL LIFE. You set the original one on the counter and look away, as now the paintings are making you twice as angry.

CRY VENGEANCE uses the MYSTERIOUS KEY on the BLACK BOX in the corner of the apartment. It works; the lock is opened.



You find a few 9MM MAGAZINES. Guess that's where those went. FATTYBOY reloads his weapon and stores the excess ammunition.

There's something else in here. It looks pretty big. INFERNOTEMPEST comes to check it out, removing it from the box himself.



Wielding the M249 SQUAD AUTOMATIC WEAPON, you are an unstoppable killing machine. He immediately freaks out because he's holding a WEAPON, and throws it on the floor. You're going to have to decide who gets that before you POSE AS A TEAM.

Also in the BLACK BOX is a slip of paper, with "6024" written on it. You do not need to waste an INVENTORY CARD, as GARQUIN can simply record the number in his PDA.

"Who would leave all this here?" he inquires as he does so. "If he was, you know, trying to kill you?"

"Don't question it." CRY VENGEANCE says. "Probably just that INSANE, BLUE-EYED SONUVABITCH hard at work again."

"Cry, you got locked up too, didn't you? I'm pretty sure his eyes were YELLOW." notes FATTYBOY.

"Well, it must have been the light then."

"Hey, guys." GARQUIN interrupts. "I think I found something else."



GARQUIN scores a HEALTH PACK. The remainder of the box's interior is filled in with thick metal, like lead.

What's left on the agenda for these guys?
