Somewhere along the line, an INGRAM MAC-10 fell out. There is writing in black Sharpie on the side that reads "BMAN".

This will probably come in handy. The weapon's BULLET REGIMENTATION ENCLOSURE is full, and there was an extra one stored with it. Despite what the wheelchair has been through, the stuff seems to be in decent condition. You resolve to use this as a tool to get more ACHIEVEMENTS than MEATSHIELD, and finally take his place on the leaderboard.

MASTEROFKILLS. Number one. What a wonderful world such would be.

The city awaits, and you don't know where to go. Any ideas?

You thank God for ENDEMIC's INCREDIBLE GRAPHICS, and begin to admire your character model. Sadly, because of ENDEMIC'S UNBELIEVABLY SHITTY PHYSICS ENGINE, you find yourself unable to look down at an angle that allows you to properly view your new assets.

Instead you decide to have a look around. There's some more buildings down the street past the HOTEL, and you can see a flickering light in CAFE BALTIC a little ways away.

The place is a wreck, and you don't even know what happened to the entire top half of the hotel building; the place looks like a tornado hit it. This, for some reason, is your invitation to go right inside.

Though the building is destroyed there are still a few places to go; most of the pathways lead to where the hotel has collapsed into the underground parking area. There is also a stairwell nearby that leads to whatever's left of the upper floors. You also hear movement coming from that general direction.

MK: Towards the left end of the Hotel is a doorway with a blood spray on the wall, That's a pretty solid indicator of activity, head that direction, and keep the Uzi ready.

You note a door below; through it, you can see a bloodied wall, but you decide to put that aside for now and come back to it later before the noise deeper in the hotel fades away.

MAC-10 at the ready, you approach what looks to be a barricade across the entire ruined hallway, constructed of destroyed concrete and parts of the building. Spent bullet casings litter the floor. As you approach, a figure drunkenly saunters out of the darkness near the staircase.

You call out to him, and he does not respond, instead focusing his gaze on you.

You raise your weapon.

"Hey! Say something or I'll shoot!"

It does not respond, instead continuing to lumber towards you. You hesitate for a moment, then yell.

"COOKIE!"

You fire once, hitting it just below the neck. Its stride is broken; it takes several more plodding steps toward you before falling to the ground and continuing to crawl at the shoddy barricade.

You adjust your aim.

This is a problem quickly rectified with another bullet.

"ENDEMIC NEWBIE - Kill your first INFECTED."

You lower your weapon, inspecting your handiwork.

You now have 10 GAMERSCORE. Eat your heart out, MEATSHIELD.

More of the same sounds begin to come from the same places. You quickly duck behind the barricade and take a cautious look over.

The glimmering of eyes is visible in the darkness. More INFECTED crawl out of the staircase and over broken hotel walls to replace the one you just killed. You are hidden behind the barricade, but this makes little difference, as they are converging on your LAST KNOWN POSITION.
