Best FPS Series

I was actually attempting to be facetious.

Perfect Dark (the first) was indeed a great game. It had bots in it which left me inside on the sunniest days over the course my childhood. The creative co-op gametype which let you play as an enemy while your "partner" had to make it through was also entertaining. These aspects have rarely been attempted, much less perfected as well as that game did. However, it felt like a Goldeneye re-skin (because it was). Also, from what I can gather from my peers, the bot multiplayer was the only thing that kept them interested. That is, until they wanted a challenge and set one expert bot on the map. The N64 never suffered so many controller tosses...
The newest addition was some of the biggest pile of dog shit my xbox ever read. I action rolled my self off the hyper glossed map several times just so I could laugh at "Joanna" (suddenly she changed her accent and speech pattern to a broken pun machine that splurged out what dumb shit she thought was slightly entertaining.). Though the game kept some of the old concepts that made it fun, it seems to be ruined by the piss poor shooting mechanics and dumb AI. On top of that, we still have "Joanna" muttering more useless crap as the plot get more and more broad and boring.
The game is represented by fucking an ugly hooker who just got a semi-truck tossed deep where the sun don't shine. Everything you wanted maybe there, but it is just too wide, boring, and not even enjoying to look at. All this and instead of hearing an erotic voice of a seeming bad ass yet cute British agent, you hear the equivalent to Andy Rooney making jokes about air plane food.


What makes me upset is how far we have come from shooters, yet it seems some of the worst FPS's to date, are from just a year or two ago.
