Well, I don't know which statement is more true for me now:

- Me hating EA with an undieing passion

- Me definitely NOT buying FM4 (the top gear partnership killed it, and this slaughtered the corpse)

Upon first hearing the news I thought Top Gear blocked it, but to my surprise no.

Absolutely not. When FM4 comes out, I highly doubt FM3 will lose that much popularity.

Speaking of which, new events are in the making guys, so those who have been missing the tarmac, we are moving toward a return soon.

@mboddz - Not the same. You're comparing vehicles v. vehicles in a racer (revolves around them) vs. FPS. People buy FPS games also buy them for different reasons (like graphics or maps) while people buy racers for nothing but cars, since it is the main feature.

@kiwi - Oh my... but they actually replaced Porsche with RUF, just like TDU2 did.

Disclaimer: The lack of porsche's is ONE of multiple reasons I don't plan on buying the game. This latest news was really just a confirmation nail in the coffin, for me at least. I would still buy a game if it "not having porsche's" was the only reason for not liking it; look at TDU2 for example, no porsche's, still bought it.

Last all porsche game I remember was NFS Porsche Unleashed from 2000 (a great game by EA before the company started hitting the crapper in 2007). That game was so ahead of it's time Smile

lol thats funny because i guarantee that when fm4 comes out, fm3 is going to end up just like fm2 did, with no one playing. believe it or not people actually like topgear, the only reason you don't is because they make fun of german cars. but whatever

dude fuck that, just because you don't have Forza 4 doesn't mean that we'll all switch back to Forza 3. just be conformist for once in your life

and the only real reason you wont buy Forza 4 is completely related to Porsche.

Jeremy Clarckson disses Porsches so to you Top Gear is the work of Satan himself, and on top of that they took away Porsches because of licensing issues
so because of Porsches you will forever dislike all Forza games to come.

My absence has left me without knowledge of forum events, anywho.

I recently bought Forza 4, and upon finding out that Porsche wasn't in the game, I nearly flipped a shit. Someone needed to do some explaining about my missing GT3 RS or GT2 RS.

And then I came to the conclusion that EA needs to jump into a fucking volcano or something else that would completely liquidate the living shit out of them. I was already pissed enough about them stealing my Huayra from everything but NFS games.

Honestly though, I've been playing the game for the past week, using my Fanatec wheel, and I can't get enough of it. The TopGear partnership hasn't effected the game really at all as far as I observe, and the TopGear Test Track is actually a very good way to test cars. Other than Jeremy's annoying over-biased car reviews in the AutoVista (how dare he call an F50 ugly) it's not that terrible.

Other than that, the car physics have been refined from FM3, the online community is not nearly as retarded, I can race without problems 99 percent of the time and make money at the same time. They upped the car count from 8 players to 16 players. I can't imagine what your problem could be with the game Erik (besides the Porsches, and really that's not a good reason considering it has 500 other cars, at least it still has the Audis, BMWs, etc.), having played it myself nonstop for a couple of days it's quite a bit better than FM3 in my opinion.

I've also sold FM3, so unless some events happen on FM4, I won't be there, not that anyone gives a shit anymore, I haven't been on here in weeks, partially because my computer committed suicide and my new one hasn't arrived yet. If you ever do change your mind Erik (and I do greatly recommend it) there are some bonuses you get for having a Level 50 profile on FM3, some useful cars and some money.

FOR INFORMATION: I haven't read shit on whether or not anyone here saying it's not worth a buy has even tried the damn game yet, I'm just talking on an assumption, and mainly expressing how much I think it's a very GOOD game.
