WOW that video went viral quickly. Already confirmed fake. Apparently some university in Montreal has a final where you have to try to trick the internet with CGI. Pretty good job.

I thought the eagle actually looked good while it was slowing down, picking up the kid, and flying away. But while it was flying above and swooping downward, it looked very CGI-ish. I've never actually heard of any type of bird taking a human, though I have heard people fuss that they can.

There is no way all of the 900+ GB is useful stuff. You could probably take 100 GB off if you went through and cleared old / outdated stuff.

A good chunk of it is games, but the bulk is AVI videos. For some reason, AVI files take up huge amounts of space. A 2 and a half minute video is 4 gigabytes. My video folder currently has 233 GB of videos in it (after I already deleted 116 GB of videos today).

Anyway, In preparation for the day of reckoning tomorrow, I'm watching Doomsday Preppers.

Haven't watched this one yet, but apparently someone shoots their thumb off in it. Anyone else preparing for the imminent end of the world? Perhaps getting a good night's rest, or playing one of the many games they bought but have never played? Or maybe some really dumb shit like actually preparing for the end of the world?
