My DJ Hero Review
Before I start I'd like to say a couple things. We've all played guitar hero and it's game that most people can get into even if it's not their type of music. Well DJ HERO is a lil bit different. Most people on this site probably wouldn't buy this game, not because it's not good but cuz it's just not for them. Anyways this review is gonna be for people who really enjoy rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B.
So today my uncle got DJ Hero so I went to go play it and this is what I thought about it.
DJ Hero is just amazing!!!!! There's so many great songs and they mix them together perfectly. I personally love music, especially these genres, and I love how DJ Hero mixes the lyrics with an awsome beat in the background. Jay-z and eminems songs were sick and were definetly my favorites. Anyone who appreciates music the way I do will definetly enjoy this game.
Now for the more detailed stuff. So the way Dj Hero works is you have certain playlists to beat so unlike Guitar Hero after each song you're not done cuz a couple seconds later the next song begins. Don't worry if you don't wanna do a bunch of songs at once you can still do 1 song at a time. Well you only have 3 main buttons, the green red & the blue. It may seem easy but there's also more. On the left side there's a lil switch you move left and right and in the middle so it's not really only 3 main buttons. There's also a lil knob you turn and it works like the wammy bar from guitar hero. If you're playing on easy you don't really do much but on medium, hard and expert it starts getting really hard. When playing a song you use the 3 buttons to press on the single notes like guitar hero but then it gets tricky. Throughout the song you'll be pressing the buttons while turning the lil switch left and right and also scratching while pressing the buttons. On top of that there's extra things you can do like press the red on certain parts and it yells stuff out like "yeah boye!!!" and "Here we go!!!" and you can tap that button in any pace you want so it adds your own style to the game. Also while playing there's parts while you're pressing the 3 buttons and turning the wammy knob thing. So if you think it looks easy and simple it's definetly not and it's just amazing.
I'm so addicted to this game and all I wanna do is play but sadly I have to wait awhile till I actually buy it myself. I definetly agree with IGN's 9/10 when compared to all games but if you really love rap/hip-hop/R&B and you appreciate every beat, lyric, ryhme, chorus, verse, and pretty much understand hip-hip culture then you'll highly agree with a 10 out of 10.

Cool review! Not really into buying a peripheral game right now though. Any info on how much it all costs together?

Re: My DJ Hero Review
It's $120 but it's definetly worth it. My uncle bought the special edition and it was $200. Hopefully I get this game real soon cuz if I don't then I'll probably have to get it for Christmas.
