RDR Midnight Launch Events

It's time to dust off your boots and mosey on down to GameStop, the world's largest video game and entertainment software retailer, on Monday, May 17, for Red Dead Redemption midnight launch events. At more than 3,000 stores nationwide, customers are encouraged to put on their best John Marston outfit and be among the first to get their hands on the new release.

Most participating GameStop locations will open at 10 p.m. local time; however, customers are asked to contact their local store to confirm the exact time of the event. Events may vary by location.

In addition, GameStop and Rockstar Games are hosting an exclusive event for New York City fans on Saturday, May 15, at the Union Square flagship store (32 E 14th Street). Starting at 9 p.m. to midnight, fans can play the game days before launch and pick up some outlaw-worthy swag including playing cards, posters, shirts, stickers and more. Event-goers must be 17 years or older to attend.

Sounds awesome, dont worry though I am sure rockstar is hosting their own special events in the other states too - OH SHI-.
