how Legit is liberty city?

ok, so i was just thinking, alot of the people here on undead xbox are from new york right? Im just wondering, aside from the missing stadium, how comparable in likeness is liberty city to new york?
( not talking about stuff like coffee mug instead of torch in statue of liberty, but more obvious things missing.)

Well I've never been in NY, but when the game came out there were hundreds of comparison photos, so they did model many buildings after the buildings in NY to say the least...

its a pretty good likeness I mean douche-bag cops and civilians. But the buildings are pretty similar Ive been to most places in the game that I've gone to in real life. I would say at least 2/3 of the liberty city is legit.
