ZRP Scenario idea "Turf War"

Title-Turf War

Story-After the infection hit people began to make groups. Lawless groups...gangs if you would. All had a hideout, some an outpost, others had insane settlements. All always competing for their rivals turf. Only some worked together.

Idea of game-All groups have a hideout.
-Only 4 to a gang.
-a group can only have one other gang as a partner gang, the rest are enemies.
-Must have a spefic job for each member of the gang.
-Once killed go to zombies team. Whether it be by a zombie or human.
-One car per gang
-Each conquered turf is now the gangs that it was conquered by.
-Can only have one main weapon and one pistol.

Objective-Conquer settlements, outposts, buildings, and turfs. Also keep your gang or turf alive don't die and don't loose your turf.

IDEA IS STILL IN A PROTOTYPE LIKE STATE.


If anyone has ideas post them.

Zombies still roam the city looking for victims to kill.

Zombie objective-Kill survivors and attack the outposts and settlements.
-Once attacking an outpost zombies have to stay attacking it for a certain amount of time.(not sure about how long yet)

-Also I might add like a unlock system. Like, say if a zombie got three kills he might get something special or turn into something.(Not sure yet)

Still thinking. I want to give this game a try as soon as it's ready.

this sounds like something for first outbreak, not ZRP, and i still gotta work on fixing some of the issues with the basic gameplay before we start adding any thing else. ZRP has no scenarios.

Too me this sounds like Gang Wars with a touch of zombies. I don't know, but It can be tried.

To be completely honest I like this idea. Its like taking two great games, gang wars/road warriors and combining them. So basically its ZRP with a gang/team element. We take the ZRP ruleset and customize it a bit to suit gang warfare. Its still a fight for survival, equipment, food, and now turf and way of life. Classes change to become more gang related, so we have gang leaders, gang mechanic, gang scientist ect...

I have a lot of UX projects that I am working on right now, so this one is going to be put on the back burner for this week at least. But that shouldn't stop you from getting deeper with this and figuring some more stuff out. The only thing is that you have not played ZRP ever so your experience with the rules and how the game should operate is limited. But try it out and we will tell you what works and doesn't.

Thanks deadape. I'll keep working on it. And if anyone tries it invite me. I really want to try it out. Maybe you could help me host it some time deadape or you PWNISHER. I'll try to get it started after I play a few more gta zombie nights. I'll be at the one this saturday.

It will be put on Team Deathmatch most likely.

I also talked about each person having a character. Let me go into a little more detail on that.

Characters-Just like in roleplay have abilities and limits.

Examples-Name-
Job-
Weapons-
Abilities-
Unlocks-

Name-Gordon
Job-Mechanic
Weapons-pistol and can get uzi
Abilities-Drives car
-If the car breaks he can get one more for his team to use.
Unlocks-Ak47 but must give up uzi


Name-Chris
Job-Baseball player
Weapons-Baseball bat and pistol
Abilities-none
Unlocks-Shotgun but must give up pistol

This is what I meant about characters. It's sorta like roleplay.

No team death. It's just called turf war.

If anyone wants to help me test out this scenario message me on live. I'm M3TAL S0LD1ER 9. I need a few expierienced players to help me too. This may be post poned until there's enough people but if you want play message me on live and post your character here.(It's a nessacary thing for the game to have a character.)

since I don't really see this working all in the same game maybe you could put the two games together, but separate at the same time. Like say they fight for turf for an hour IRL time then choose a gang that is controlling the most amount of turf, start a TD and start zombie rush with the four gang members having to hold their turf for like ten minutes.
