UX Meet up for Canada?

So I was thinking since no staff on ux i think are canadian, i figured i would suggest this.

Since the meet up last time for the people in the states was a success, i was thinking if we should do one too.

So, i was thinking, who would be up for a snowboard trip to the mountains since winters coming soon? I think it would be a lot of fun for some other members, even people in the states if they want too, could come up to either Jasper, Alberta or Banff, British columbia, for a nice long intense weekend of skiing and snowboarding.

If you do not snowboard or ski, i am a snowboard instructor at my local ski hill and I can teach anyone who cant do either to snowboard, as i have with some of my friends.

I will name a date and time, as well for the prices and the cost of rentals.

If many people want to do this, i will pay for a larger hotel room too fit a few members in and maybe a second.

I hope this gets some interest i really do, and we can change the date and time to fit peoples needs.

Sounds cool, but to be honest I don't think anyone is going to stay in a hotel room with a bunch of kids they don't know for the weekend.

Well originally thats what I would of had to do since no one had the room and stable for my horse and I after the Journey during the last meetup on the East Coast.

if we did a ski trip some where in bc or banff, Sunshine, lake Louise, norquway, panorama, Kimberly, kicking horse. I can easily do any of these ski hills for a day trip or over nighter cause i can easily drive their.

the only problem for me is that im still recovering from surgery and am not quite sure weather or not the doc is going to let me ski this season but ill have too see

KZ If you could come that would be awesome, and i was thinking of either sunshine or Marmot basin, because they have more for us snowboarders. but deadape about the rooms, i was thinking depending on how many people show up, and who is willing to help pay, we may be able to get more rooms and just room 2 or 3 people together.

I can't snowboard or ski, and I live in Ontario so I'm not gonna drive to BC, or even fly cause that would cost a lot, also I'm only 14 and I'm sure that if i asked my parents about this they would immediately turn it down, simply because its with a bunch of people I don't even know in real life, only on the internet and xbox.

If people dont mind, id like to see who here is actually canadian. that way if i know who wants to meetup, we can possibly accomodate peoples needs and possibly go somewhere else.

I honestly would totally do it, its just I don't even have my G1 yet. I can't get it until next year, and Im pretty sure my Dad wouldn't drive me so I can't go yet.

But there is also an alternative for me to just go a couple kilometers and just kick down bman's door. Which would be awesome! (Jks)
