The UX Minecraft Server (WHITELISTED)

Rules:
No Griefing
Cut a tree, plant a tree
No more than a 2x2 TNT block
Any other rules that would also apply
Follow City Rules (ie. Mexican's vilage, Quin city)
Don't intentionally lead creepers to houses or cities
Don't intentionally lag or crash the server
No random killing

Monsters: ON
PvP: ON
Do not make any Nether portals they do not work still.
Please report any bugs and glitches by Pm'ing me.
The server will be at a max 20 people if it lags or if there isn't any please tell me.

Ok guys new server for the summer.
It's my friends server and it's his map but it's really cool and he offered the server for you guys. Just a couple of rules:
1. NO GRIEFING (He really hates it and he goes perma-ban on you if you do)
2. Don't take or move the flowers in Capitol City (you will see)
3. There is currency (It's gold and can be exchanged for iConomy money at ATMs. Better go mining)
4. When in the wilderness you cannot lock anything (Locking is used with LWC[Just type /lwc for commands])
5. You must go through a tour to get building privileges
6. You must buy plots to build on (Ask movie002 about pricing)
7. DO NOT MAKE NETHER PORTALS (You must find them. Don't worry we placed some)

Still failed, I don't know what it could be.

Ok well I'm figuring out the problem till then use Flask's, make a custom sking, dwnload a texture pack anything until I update the OP.

Did you port foward correctly? If you guys want I'll host mine all the time, it works fine I've already tested it.

I feel like if we're going to have a UX server, it should be only one server that's up all the time, or nearly all the time. I know I used to just put my server up whenever, but I've since learned that that's not a very efficient or fair way of doing it.

well I can let it run continuisly i just need to see what might happen. Last night i had it running for 3 hours straight but i can see how long it will run

Also, we need a PC with a server OS with around 4-6 gbs of memory and I would suggest an i5, or higher, processor to run continuously. As we get more people, we would have to upgrade to the 6+ range and nothing lower than an i7 to keep it running smooth and efficiently.

Might be sufficient for a small group...however, I still cannot connect. I doubt it is your specs, most likely, it is your connection.

I'll see if I can't steal some server space from a few sites my friends and I have up.

That way we won't have to depend on someone's computer. O_o

My minecraft keeps crashing So I can't play right now. Im gonna see whats wrong and try to fix it.

I use that on singleplayer it's really great but it's really confusing to download

Yeah ive actually gotten my server to work. But it seems that anyone else whose connected has horrible lag on far distance rendering. Probably because my processor is outdated. oh well i only started the server for me and a friend and with 2 people it doesn't seem THAT bad.

As for my server only few people can connect:

I think everything is laggind for everybody

I cant even connect to minecraft.net
