Looks do change if you go far enough back (agreeing with lambo).

Besides, I consider a company that does a "complete redesign" of a model base every couple years, a car company that hasn't reached perfection yet, or just has no clue what the hell they're doing.

now I know the whole, "don't fix what isn't broken" but Porsche is not that amazing, it isn't that good for it's money, and THEY ARE FUCKING EVERYWHERE!!! rarity makes things much cooler, and because of that, to the average person, Ferraris GTRs Lambos Maseratis CATERHAMS GINETTAS NOBLES and Audis(R8) will always be cooler than a Porsche

However, the Porche and Lambo look have been very iconic in the motor industry. If anything, maintaining a specific look and then changing it for maybe a year or so and then changing it back makes it more "rare" but, that is besides the point.
A counter example would be Jaguar. They are always changing their look. They evolved heavily and making them feel like a different car all together. In my opinion, it is a massive mistake. It is like a teenager taking up the "scene" look only to find it to not be exciting enough so he changes to "hipster" and then to "jock" then to "metal" ect. It just look like the designers were shot and replaced every other year.
It ruins the brand with massive changes. It is nice to have a constant look and feel. It is what makes an Rolls a Rolls and a Lotus a piece of shit.

It's good to have a trademark look. That way, when you see one driving down the street, you instantly recognize what it is. (and there is nothing wrong with a big dick AND a nice car, ppl just be jelly)

Having a crappy car doesnt mean you have a big dick btw. Also people who buy expensive cars to make themselves have a big dick don't actually like cars. They just call up there accountant and tell them to buy that new Audi that Iron man was driving.

About that i woud like to hear the name of a porsche that comes from the porsche factory with all origonal porsche parts that has a higher top speed the lets say the aventador at 217mph?

@Lambo - Higher top speed than 217mph, going on pure Porsche's, okay you got me there.

But then again, show me a lambo that can do the new 911 Turbo S 0-60 time of 2.8s? (it is also the 2nd fastest accelerating (0-60 only) production vehicle, behind the veyron).

Sure you can argue it is only 0.1 seconds, but that new lambo is only 7mph faster than a Carera GT (and remember, Porsche underestimates everything; you could probably get a carera GT to around 215mph).



@Slash - As common as Toyotas? You're an idiot. And since when does "rarity" have any play in anything. That is backwards logic: If a car is rare (and therefore, according to you, likable), than everyone would want one. But wait... now everyone has this rare car, so it isn't good anymore because it is everywhere. Endless cycle much?

And if you are referring to cars that were not produced in mass to begin with, I agree. The new GT2 RS's are very limited in numbers, the 918 Spyder production is meant to be limited, and etc. The only ones your thinking of are the boxster series, which is the "lower class series". Companies got to make money somehow...

@Slash's Video - Fail troll attempt here. Unless your blind, you can clearly see the Porsche wasn't flooring it until the 7 second mark (0:07). therefore, given the acceleration incurred, i'd say the Ferrari had a 3-4 second head start. Bias vid is bias, fail troll is fail; please stop trying..

@ Eaustinn That Porsche was fully accelerating in that drag, but had one of the worst shifts I've ever seen.
