MW3 Spec Ops level reset to 1

I log in today to play survival mode but I discover my level was reset to 1. I check the leaderboards and it said I was level 29 so I have no idea why this happend. No, I did not glitch or hack or any of that.

Could be a bug with the game.

Sounds a lot like the BFBC2 lvl 1 glitch that happens now and then.

yes, but the BF lvl 1 glitch never actually happened. it just looked like you were lvl 1.

I've heard about a bunch of glitches and cheats about MW3; none of them were a surprise to me. ie. say your playing a multiplayer game (they might have fixed this) and you dashboard, when you come back your level has automatically reset to level 1. Infinity Ward has and always will make glitchy games, and though they have had multiple patches they most likely wont be fixed very well. just like how they attempted to block people from getting under a map by creating a kill barrier, this worked for about two days until people figured out how to get under it in a different way.
in conclusion, MW3 sucks

this happened to my friend in multiplayer i think it's a glitch in the game he was lvl 75 and got reset to 60.

This may be just you. I have check through the forms, and recent news put out by IW however, there is no other evidence of this occurring that I can find. This leads me to believe you either
A: were in a "hacked" lobby
B: you were specifically targeted to be hacked or
C: you are covering up that you are an impressive hacker and are trying to cover up your story. You are also a KGB and CIA double agent who owns several attack dog and chainsaw launchers.

I am betting on C.
