Breaking Bad Topic

I started watching it recently and wow it is amazing i thought it was going to be like the show weed but with meth but no a lot better than that i love the chemistry with Walter and Jessie.

Several of us have watched it actually, one of the best shows I've ever seen

I've only been able to catch a few episodes, so I can't really say I watch the show; but I don't think it's bad either.

As I said earlier in the thread, I caught up on the series about a month or two before Season 3 aired.

Then I watched Season 3 week by week, watching every episode as it aired. When it was done, I waited a year, and watched Season 4 week by week.

Season 5 started Sunday, and I watched that episode too, and can't wait for next week.

I love it, best series on TV

It's basically the most transcendent drama on television right now. Breaking Bad both plays up the emotional study of corruption alongside the more flashy action and spectacle sequences, while at the same time setting aside every modern preconception and expectation you could have about how television works and then picking those notions back up and mindfucking you with them. It's not just "television-good" it's good in such a way that it surpasses the medium itself, and on a scale of levity and thematic depth, I'd rank it on par with most if not all classic literary tragedies.

I really love Breaking Bad.

Season 5 started yesterday. It should have ended a few seasons ago to be honest, but at least they haven't gone full Lost on it yet.

The recap for Season 4 (and the lack of recap from anything from the first 3 seasons) made my brain hurt. It's been fucking forever since then, they can't expect me to remember this shit when all they do is subtly hint at it in dialogue.

I just started watching that show like 5 months ago and I caught up in a flash, it's one of the few shows I actually dread when it ends.

I disagree. Before season 5, SMK and I had agreed the series could have ended with season 4, but not anymore.
