Halo 4 looks cool
Gears looks good
Excited about the upgraded ESPN since I don't have the channels
South Park looks good
Might get splinter cell even though theres probably no stealth
Tomb Raider looked good

Overall, it was okay. While I think sports games are super boring and shit, at least they showed nothing but video games the entire time. Better than Microsoft but that's not saying much.

Very decent conference until the final game which looks like the best game ever. Holy shit. Did yourselves a favor and look up the new IP Watchdog. Best game shown at E3 so far.

Forgot to mention the integrated multiplayer with singleplayer, it looked like Dark Souls where people can leave hints, but also seemed as if other online players were helping other online players with their single player storylines.

I'm so confused, but nevertheless, I'm sure it'll work.

I can't be the only one who has virtually no ability to "get hyped" for games anymore, can I? Most of them are just going to be mediocre at best. Even games that are good will be -just- good. I feel like none of this stuff is fresh. I love Halo, and even with that I'm still perfectly fine waiting for two years or however long.

Okay. For some reason, this just seems really goddamn insulting. Fucking Splinter Cell is now stealth free? I remember fighting three guys on a catwalk being the most grueling shit ever. Now they just HAD to make it a shooter? Isn't that market a LITTLE over-saturated? Do we need ANOTHER GODDAMN SHOOTER? If someone wants a shooter, there's so many choices, yet they had to make Splinter Cell appeal to that market? How many times can the same type of game be made before people start getting bored of it, for Fuck's sake. It can't be bringing anything new or unique to the shooter genre, can it? So it's just another goddamn shooter. Isn't anybody done with this genre yet? After all the Halo and Gears of War and Call of Duty and Battlefield I've played, I'm just done with it. I literally don't play shooters for recreation anymore, because they don't give any. At least with stuff like Uncharted and Mass Effect, they bring other game elements into it occasionally. What's actually new with shooters? New guns? New enemies? New environments? Boy oh boy, that's not going to feel exactly the same as the last one at all. That completely changes the game up. I don't know why, but for some reason it feels like the shooter genre has been "completed", and now they're just manufacturing shooters based on the completed model. It feels like there's nothing new they could possibly add to the genre, and because of that I'll never have any reason to pick up another shooter again. Fuck you, whoever's in charge of Splinter Cell. I'm looking forward to you pumping out the same goddamn thing everyone else has done. I'm sure the experience is going to be fresh as shit. I mean that literally, fresh as the stuff your body gets rid of after you suck all the nutrients out of. Why don't we just make all games shooters too, since that market is so popular that apparently it's sucking the ability of any other genre to be successful away. You know what Dawnstar needs? Repeating crossbows, and a team deathmatch gamemode where everyone is the same level and just sprints around with their repeating crossbows. The RPG and stealth markets just aren't big enough, better just make everything appeal to the shooter crowd.

I felt the exact same until I saw Watch Dogs. I can't remember the last time I've been this hyped.

I did, and honestly it didn't appeal to me at all. The whole reason I watched Ubisoft's conference was for AC3.
