Welp, in a down-to-the-wire final game, the quarters are done.

Only 4 teams remain, all others are eliminated.

Onto the Semis!!!

Also, based on the final 4, any new predictions on the winner?

They've been good, but imo not the best.

Germany was the only team to top the group stage with "+9" points. The margin of victory in each game also, was more convincing, slightly.

It could happen though, all 4 teams in the semis aren't bad.

In the UEFA or FIFA. But they typically are the runner-up, and they look good this year. They might have something.

Seriously though, I mean Spain vs. Portugal on Wednesday Spain will probably murder them. Same with Germany Vs. Italy.

Therefore, it will be Spain vs. Germany in the finals 100% Viva Espania!

Well dang. It was close, but all I can say is today's game was Italy v. England all over again; same score and everything.

I won't spoil here, but check the first post to see who won the spot in the finals (portugal or spain).

Anyways, I'm looking at it like this right now: whoever wins is screwed. If Spain wins, Germany will revoke their bailout fund, thus crippling the Spanish economy. And if Italy wins, when the time comes, they won't get any bailout money. It's win-win! (or lose-lose)

(for those who aren't updated on current events, Italy and Spain and in very rough economic situations since they can't manage their money at all (like Greece and Ireland), so Germany (Europe's strongest economy) has been financially bailing them out with billions of euros). Italy hasn't gotten anything yet, but if the crisis continues, they will most likely require a bailout like Spain did.
